The 55GX Centerball Tripod Head with QLB-60 QR Clamp from FLM is a light yet strong ball head with a simplified but effective friction lever, a low-profile design, an anodized satin-surface ball, and a load capacity of 88.2 lb. It has a short-travel pan control and the popular FLM-designed 15°-stop function.

Additionally included is an Arca-type QLB-60 quick release clamp with a quick release lever and dual bubble levels.

A: This small head is very good and well made, there are no issues at all when using this head.

Q: 5. Can the locking pin be removed?

A: The locking pin on the FLM QLB-80 Quick Release Clamp cannot be removed. However, if you squeeze the pin between a pair of pliers and push it down into the body of the clamp, the locking pin will be ineffective and out of the way.

Q: 6. Anyone know the height: base to base? (not including the 1/4-20 stud height)

A: The height of the FLM CB-18E Center ball Head is 1.9 inches.

Q: 7. Is this clamp Arca Swiss compatible and able to work on an RSS Arca Swiss L-plate?

A: Simply....YES.

Q: 8. Does it come with any screw to for mounting to the FLM ball head?

A: For the FLM QLB-80 Quick Release Clamp, screws would need to be purchased separately.

Q: 9. Does this come with a 1/4-20" to 3/8-16" adapter? If not, will any 1/4-20 to 3/8-16 adapter work with it?

A: No, it does not include one, but any standard adapter should work with it.

Q: 10. Is able to hold Manfrotto RC2 plate ?

A: As the RC2 is not Arca-compatible, it will not work with the FLM QLB-80 Quick Release Clamp.
