When the autostop switch is engaged, the platter will begin spinning when the tonearm hovers over the edge of the record, and it will stop spinning at the end of the record to prevent extra wear on the stylus. Q: 4. how come the auto power on and auto power off features shut off after the time they are programmed for?I'd like to program the power so it comes on and off at a certain time every day without having to enable them after their times.

Insert the opposite end into the amplifier device. Be sure to connect the white plug to the white jack and the red plug to the red jack." https://www.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/913715.pdf

Q: 8. How is the platter seating on the chassis? Is there a bearing wheel or just an axe?

A: There is little info (suggest calling Marantz(401) 658-5766 for more info. on mechanical specs of this TT: Low-Resonance High-Density Acrylic Chassis and Platter A solid plinth belt-drive design (the preferred turntable drive system), the TT-15S1 features a chassis and platter made from dense glass cast PMMA acrylic composite that has inherent vibration and resonance deadening capabilities, which helps the TT-15S1 deliver an astonishing 80 dB signal to noise ratio. Floating Motor Mount Construction Equipped with a reference class anodized aluminum manual tonearm, the TT-15S1 comes with a top-class MM cartridge from Clearaudio and features a precision AC synchronous motor in a massive die-cast housing that thoroughly suppresses motor vibrations, delivering its smooth torque to the thick, heavy platter via a continuous loop (joint-less) silicon belt.

Q: 9. Does this have automatic shut off and arm lifting at the end of the record? And what exactly is meant by "auto-start" in the description?

A: Per the owner's guide: EASY TO USE 1. Connect the AC power supply to the household outlet. 2. Rotate the OFF / 33/45 knob to turn on the unit and Select the speed according to the record you are playing. 3. Put a record on the turntable. Remember to use the 45 RPM adaptor located on the top right corner when playing a 45 RPM record. 4. Lift and move the tone arm to turntable. Place the tone arm on the edge of the record and the record starts playing. 5. Assemble the balance weight and set it to a proper position. NOTE: The balance weight is to adjust the pressure of the needle. If the pressure is too much, the sound will become distorted; if the pressure is too little, track skipping will easily happen. Please adjust the balance weight by turning the balance weight clockwise or counter-clockwise. 6. To pause or stop playing, you need to lift and move the tone arm back to the tone arm rest manually. 7. When the end of the record is reached, the tone arm and rotation stop. Lift the tone arm and place it to tone arm rest manually. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/607720.pdf

Q: 10. Does my checkout cart have everything I need to plug in and play?
