This proprietary algorithm optimizes the thermal images from the sensor in a three-stage process for a detailed and high-contrast image, even when a cold sky threatens to darken the view. You no longer need to aim low, and you can keep game in the center of the frame.

The newly designed scroll wheel allows both left- and right-handed users to select zoom levels or menu items quickly and precisely, even in stressful hunting situations or while wearing gloves. An extendable eyepiece allows comfortable use with or without eyeglasses.

The battery allows 6.5 hours of continuous observation and is easily replaceable. It can also be recharged using a standard power bank and thus ensures you never runs out of power. The standby mode is activated contactless—if the DTI 6 is put down or picked up, it switches itself off or on.

Personal settings can be saved in up to four observation profiles so you are equipped for any situation. Select your preferred zoom speed, adjust the duration of the stand-by timer, configure the LED, and create your own color palettes, the DTI 6 can be customized to suit your preferences and specific needs. Preset Fog, Universal, Discover, and Identify observation modes help tailor the view to the respective hunting situation.

The DTI 6 is fully integrated into the ZEISS Hunting app and can reliably connect to your smartphone. Data is transferred between the DTI 6 and the app via energy-efficient Bluetooth technology, but switches to Wi-Fi automatically when processing large amounts of data. The ZEISS Hunting app allows you to customize and configure the DTI 6 according to your individual needs and requirements.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would a Magic Arm hold this, with a super clamp on the other end clamped on the vertical pole of a large light stand?

A: I would not recommend using third party adapters or clamps as we cannot guarantee compatibility with mounting. The tray is meant to be mounted with a base stand.

Q: 2. Is there space on this tray for an external hard drive? Will Matthews release accessories to mount a hard drive onto this tray? Thanks!

A: Not at this time.

Q: 3. Does anyone have direct experience on whether a Canon EOS 1D X MKiii will fit properly in the Holster 40 V2.0? Having great trouble finding a camera bag that will fit the beast.

A: Yes, the Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 40 V2.0 (Black) will definitely be able to hold the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III DSLR Camera and similarly sized cameras. This can hold larger SLR cameras with integrated grips or cameras with battery grips attached. This can hold the camera with a 24-70mm lens, and longer lenses with the pop-down expansion.

Q: 4. If used with the MMF-3 on the GH5, will this lens have in-camera aperture control?

A: Yes, the MMF-3 provides electronic AF and aperture control for the Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 14-35mm f/2.0 SWD Lens.

Q: 5. To attach this to the Peak Design Travel Tripod do I just need an Arca-type plate with a 3/8" screw?

A: The following unit features a 3/8"-16 threaded mounting hole on the bottom of the tray allows it to be mounted to tripods or other supports with a 3/8"-16 stud.

Q: 6. Will this bag fit a Fujifilm 150-600 with a XT5 attached ?

A: The Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 40 V2.0 (Black) is too small to hold the Fujifilm XF 150-600mm f/5.6-8 R LM OIS WR Lens--the Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 150 would hold that lens: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1489971-REG/think_tank_photo_710883_digital_holster_150_v2_0.html/specs

Q: 7. Does this Tank Photo 40 v2 fit a Nikon D3s with 35-70mm F2.8 AF lens attached?

A: Yes, your gear will fit in this case.

Q: 8. What's the payload?

A: Payload is not specified. Its designed for laptops. Make sure to use a adequate stand or the stand will fail before the tray does.

Q: 9. Does the mount allow you to tilt the tray at all?

A: The 5/8" light stand adapter included with the Matthews Digital Imaging Technician Tray Kit does not allow the tray to tilt; however, the tray has a 3/8"-16 threaded mounting hole that can be used to mount the tray to a tripod or stand that will allow the tray to tilt.

Q: 10. How does availability for this lens work, as I understand it is no longer manufactured?

A: The Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 14-35mm f/2.0 SWD Lens is still available. Since it is a special order, once you place your payment, it will take about 7-14 days before we ship it to you.
