Q: 1. Will this be an actual 20mm on a Sony A7R?

A: No it will not. This lens is formatted for APS-C sensors, and if used on the A7r will cause the camera to crop its sensor, and will have an equivalent focal length of 30mm.

A: I believe it is 61.93 degrees.

Q: 6. Will this work for full-format Sony cameras, like the a9?

A: Physically this will mount on a full frame camera such as the A9 however it will need to be shot in apsc or super 35 mode to avoid vignetting.

Q: 7. I'm thinking of purchasing this unit, but am curious to how you would connect it from your motherboard to PC speakers. I know it has RCA inputs/outputs, and would assume:- Speakers connect to the output?- Motherboard connect to the corresponding input?Only asking, as their website doesn't have an instructional/manual on this...Thanks.

A: The ART DTI will connect from your computers output jack to the RCA inputs of the unit using the correct cable. Output connections from the DTI will depend on the connections available on the speakers or other device to be connected.

Q: 8. Does it allow full manual control of the focus?

A: If the camera is set to manual focus, then you would be able to use the focus ring on the front of the Sony E 20mm f/2.8 Lens to focus the lens manually. The lens does not have a built-in aperture ring, so you would have to set the aperture of the lens using the control dials on your camera body.

A: Yes, this lens will autofocus on the A6300 while recording video.

This lens on my a6000 is so small I can carry it in my coat pocket. I love the quirky lens shade in spite of all the complaints. It works and it is small. 5

As an upgrade to a Sony 16mm that I had used and abused for a year and a half, I finally settled on something that got me a bit more reach. Paired with the cropped sensor of the Sony a6000, this is a perfect little package for some great images. Its fast, its crisp, it is a great fit with that body. 5

This lens is is a fantastic lens for APS-C E mount cameras. Sharp across the frame and is small! This lens has a 30mm (35mm full frame equivalent) view and is lovely. This lens stays on my a6000 99% of the time. If you are trying to find a nice lens to walk around with or shoot the family without adding bulk to your already fantastic Sony camera, this would be the lens. PS Skip the 16mm version because it stinks. 5

This is a better lens than the 16mm. No softness noticede so far even wide open. The awasome thing that it works nicely with Sony NEX VCL-ECU1 ultra wide converter 0.75x which gives you 15mm to the crop sensor. Nice wide angle baby. 5
