A: Here are several suggestions with the point to remember the computer wants to read the MicroSD card and not the camera. 1.Make sure the card is in the camera and is properly inserted. 2 Try a different USB input. This is particularly true on laptops and it will need to be a powered USB input. 3. Use a different USB cable; any with the correct connections will work. 4. Try a different computer. 5. Get another MicroUSB card, make sure to format it in the camera and try that.

A: Try the SJCAM website. The WiFi version is basically the same camera with the exception of WiFi of course.

A: Yes. On my SJ4000 Wi-Fi, to charge the battery while the camera is on you must change the Car Mode setting in the Setup menu to On. The camera will then recognize the USB connection as a charger and not an image download. Change it back again when you want to download images and recordings to your computer.

A: It records at 30 frames/second. Quite adequate for any video. If you want to slow down motion , e.g. the catch of ball by wide receiver, then you need higher speed (but those are cameras used by TV networks...).

A: Yes. In the Setup menu go to Video Lapse. There you can set the camera to automatically take photos at timed intervals in Record video mode. On my SJ4000 Wi-Fi you can choose 1, 2, 5, 10 or 30 second or 1 minute intervals. In Playback mode they will play back as a time-lapse video. Note that play back is a series of still images taken at timed intervals, thus giving the impression of a video. There is no actual video capture between the still images. Also, as JOSE M said in his answer, you can take a long video and accelerate it in the editing program.
