Audio engineers, producers, and musicians looking for a professional studio monitor with a wide stereo image and precision phase alignment will be impressed with the single PreSonus Eris Pro 6, an active 2-way studio monitor which employs a single point-source coaxial design for clear and accurate sound reproduction. This design provides superior phase alignment between components and delivers a wide sweet spot, precise stereo imaging, and symmetrical dispersion patterns. The Eris Pro 6 has unique advantages for Dolby Atmos immersive rooms as well as stereo mix environments.

Two Class-AB amplifiers deliver 75W to the 6.5" woven composite woofer and 65W to the 1.25" silk dome tweeter, which offers a snappy, accurate transient response. The monitor offers a frequency response from 20 kHz down to 35 Hz for a full-range sound without a subwoofer and plenty of volume (103 dB SPL). The rear panel provides acoustic tuning controls, including a three-position Acoustic Space switch that helps compensate for the boundary bass boost that can occur when a monitor is placed in a corner or near a wall. High and Mid controls help to further mitigate room anomalies, while a low cutoff filter makes it easy to integrate a subwoofer into your monitor setup. Lastly, provisions for wall and ceiling mounts make it easy to integrate Eris Pro 6 monitors into any stereo or multi-channel system.

Q: 1. For 35mm loading, does this device have something that flattens the film before/as it scans? My film strips not only curl at the end which is no biggy but they bow like a tunnel all the way down which is my current issue and wondering if this machine will flatten before scanning so it is all in focus. Thank you in advance.

A: I believe you are talking about 35mm negatives, right? Assuming this is true, the negative holder that the negative strip is put into before putting it into the machine is kind if like a coin slide with a big window in the middle. The strip is contained by the sides of and positioned by the holder but the window allows the light to shoot thru the negative and digitize the photo. The holder does keep the negative somewhat flat but somehow I don't know how your negatives ever got curled up or bowed in the first place. That's beside the point, though. This negative holder will help but it does not clamp the negative down to make it flat. The negative strip, when it is in the holder, must have some looseness to allow you to slide the negative through the holder once it is in the machine in order to digitize more than one photo from that negative strip. So yes, it helps flatten it but any severe bowing or cupping will not be corrected by the holder. You would need to find a way to gently, over time, flatten the negative strips that are badly bowed/cupped. I'd use pressure by putting each one in the middle of separate pages of a real heavy book for a while and pile weight on top of it. Hope this helps.

Q: 2. This came with the JBL LSR310s kit I just purchased. I was wondering if I can connect the Left and Right speakers to one channel, while connecting the subwoofer to another channel, then control the subwoofer on/off independently of the main speakers or have all 3 on at the same time?

A: The Monitor Station allows you to program the unit to output in several ways. Speaker selection can be in All On mode (speaker A, B and C can be engaged simultaneously), Toggle mode (speaker A, B, and C can only be selected one at a time), or Subwoofer mode (A and B are selectable, and C can be selected with A or B).

Q: 3. Do these make a static sound when no audio is present?

A: The IK Multimedia iLoud MTM High Resolution Compact Studio Monitor is not inherently subject to self noise while powered on with no audio signal present.

Q: 4. Will the Wolverine take different slide sizes? I have a box of old "stereo" slides from Kodak with two images that can be viewed as "3D". I would like to scan just one of each of the images, but the size is smaller than 35mm. How flexible is the scanner?

A: Wolverine makes different size slide carriers, so all you would need to do is make sure you purchase the right carrier for the film and you should be able to scan them in properly.

Q: 5. will this reach 70' while stationary?

A: When utilizing this lens' 2x extender it has a 42x zoom ratio. You'll be able to shoot a subject from 70 feet away with that kind focal range.

Q: 6. Is this a scanner or simply a digital camera that takes a picture of a picture?

A: It takes pictures and then uploads them to your computer via USB. Quality is good and adjustable altho we use PS for enhancement. It's way faster than our HP G4020- 16. As fast as you can feed'em ya scan'em! We love it for the price. No complaints from customers yet!!

Q: 7. Does this set come with just one speaker or two?

A: This is just one monitor: IK Multimedia iLoud MTM High Resolution Compact Studio Monitor (Single, Black) BH #IKIPILOUDMTM

Q: 8. Does the Wolverine Titan capture sound when scanning Super 8 film with a sound strip?

A: No, this would not capture the sound (audio) from the film.

Q: 9. Can the SanDisk 64 GB EXTREME UHS-1 SDXC function at its maximum in this camcorder for videos?

A: The Sandisk 64GB Extreme UHS-1 SDXC will work without an issue on the camera, however the camera will not come close to using the full speed of the card. You can use the 64GB Ultra: https://bhpho.to/2gQLMix

Q: 10. Does it require to remove the APS negative from the roll?

A: Yes. Their website has a link to a video that shows you how to open the aps container.

Setup and use is a breeze! It's incredible how powerful this camera is, and it's not huge! The automatic white balance isn't always the best choice, but it's easy to switch between different settings for the best coloring. Uploading was easy to my computer just by taking out the SD card. The format of the video is accepted by youtube, so if you don't want to edit the video first, you can just upload it. You can also edit on youtube if you want.

We had been doing video on a point/shoot camera, so this is a dramatic step up for us. The flash memory was a major selling point for me- it's cheap, durable, portable, and makes it easy to transfer files to your pc. We tend to make many short videos (under 2 min or so) and it's worked very well. Start-up time is fast, menus are easy to navigate (but maybe not intuitive), and there are a lot of options for shot control- including shutter and aperture priority. Pros: size and weight, automatic lens cover (no lens cap to lose), uses SDHC cards, great videos, nice selection of Canon-branded accessories available. Cons: Not enough to dock it a star, but be aware of your lighting situation. This camera does far far better than my last device, but you still get some grain in low light situations. It did not come with a dedicated battery charger- you have to plug the camera in to charge the battery on-board. Transferring files directly from the camera via USB requires the ac adapter. Other thoughts: Make sure your SD card reader is compatible with SDHC media- this one stumped me for an hour or so on Day 1. I wasn't happy with the oem software, but I rarely am. I wanted a video editor that included cataloging functions, was compatible with 64-bit Windows, and was under $150- I couldn't find it. The most obvious choice- Premiere Elements- did not play sound from my raw camera files. I ended up using Windows Live Photo Gallery for the catalog, and I'm still demo-ing editors (Vegas Studio is in the lead right now). I did try the video plugin written by by Jeffrey Friedl for Lightroom (which I use for stills) but it didn't work with my work-flow. Be aware that these files are pretty large- if you're looking for HD video, then you probably understand that. If you will be doing any editing, then your pc will need to be pretty competent.

I just tested this on a project I was working on with my Vixia HF 10, I wanted a second camera for a job requiring a multi camera shoot. All controls are similar to HF 10 so it was easy to use. I use it to shoot ad spots for a web agency and also for ministry events in my church. This camera has features advanced enough to work on almost any video project

I reluctantly sold my Canon XH-A1 camcorder as I no longer am filming professional quality. Yet I wanted an HD camera. Upon discovery of the Canon Vixia HF200 I was impressed with the features - and bought one. Most shocking was the small size (am used ot the larger Sony and Canon camcorders). But what a convenience! I now take it with me everywhere - without the large camera bag and accessories. Most importantly, the picture/video quality is outstanding. The features such as headphone jack and external mic were typically found only on professional cameras - features that are a 'must' if you want good sound.Editing AVCHD is tricky. My Adobe Premiere CS3 does not process AVCHD; I used Roxio (Creator 2010) to edit and create a short film. I also used Roxio 2010 to convert it to WMV, but the software stumbled/froze and gave me fits. It did ultimately work, though.I plan to purchase Adobe Premiere Elements 8 to edit in the future. Thanks to many other reviewers for their comments; those were valuable in helping me select the Canon HF200. ...

As a student filmmaker who doesn't want to spend thousands on a camera, this camera is fantastic. The picture quality is excellent-- even sharper and nicer looking than many professional HD cameras. The files are a pain a bit because they really make your PC's CPU work hard, but a good compression rate, giving a minimal amount of noise. I couldn't be happier. Battery life only about an hour when recording.

This camera rocks! Really easy to use. I haven't opened the manual, it's very intuitive. I am using it almost daily while coaching skiing and it's very easy to use even with ski gloves on. Battery life is great and you can really use it outside all day filming and viewing on the excellent little screen. Slow motion function really useful and clear picture. Picture quality great of course. It's a very handy size and easily fits into jacket pocket. I use a goggle bag to keep it unscratched in my pocket. Order a filter or clear lens to protect lens from the elements.

I purchased this video specifically because Canon makes a compact underwater housing for it. The housing instructions tell you how to set the camera for underwater, and although the instructions were a bit vague, and Canon support was not helpful, it is a one time adjustment. I just got back from first dive trip with it and the underwater colors were about as natural as watching Planet Earth. It did well on large animals, like dolphins, and equally well on all but the tiny macro stuff. The bright screen setting enabled me to see the LCD panel easily underwater. I used the camera with a Lite Cannon 100 underwater light and a diffuser for overhangs and darker days. Overall, I have never been this happy with an underwater camera.

I wanted a small camcorder to carry with my Nikons. This filled the bill and then some. I have been using it to document ships working in NY Harbor. For what it is HD is incredible. Wind noise is a problem shooting my subject matter, so I got an Azden SMX-10 Mic. Battery life could be better, but I do not think any manufacturer supplies any more than the basic battery...you just have to buy an extra.
