For hunters and outdoor enthusiasts navigating the dark, Holosun offers its fusion of red dot sight and digital night vision, the DRS-NV. The Digital Reflex Sight combines the red circle-dot Super LED Multi-Reticle System with a 1024 x 768 resolution digital sensor and two night vision reticle options for 24-hour sighting capability. The sensor provides an overlay refresh rate up to 60 fps and an 8x digital zoom, all while supporting digital image and video recording with on-board storage. These images can be downloaded via the USB-C connector, which also can be used to charge the two 18350 batteries. Powering eight daylight brightness settings and four for night vision, the batteries provide a single-use runtime up to five hours.

Q: 1. Can Nikons full frame mirror less IBIS be used with Tokin's 500mm F/8 catadioptric lens?

A: Yes, Nikons IBS will work with the Tokins 500mm.

Q: 2. Can the focal length of this lens be increased with a teleconverter?

A: This may be used with teleconverters that have no optical tube in their design, but not traditional teleconverters (such as Nikon's own 1.4x and 2.0x) that have them.

Q: 3. I bought this lens with the f mount adapter, but I'd like to use it with my Canon EF camera. Where would I buy the EF adapter?

A: The Tokina TA0012 SZX T-Mount Adapter for Canon EOS, BH #TOTA0012, allows the Tokina SZX 400mm f/8 Reflex MF Lens for Nikon F to mount on a Canon EF camera.

Q: 4. Can the lens hood be reversed and stored on the lens?

A: The Tokina SZX 400mm f/8 Reflex MF Lens for Nikon F's lens cap cannot be reversed and stored on the lens.

Q: 5. Has anyone been able to use focus peaking with this lens on a Fuji X camera?

A: This is a very new lens and so there is not much information on real use. But like any lens if the camera has focus peaking it should technically be able to do that with this lens. And with most others that fit on the camera.

Q: 6. does this lens send any exif info to the camera or is it chipless?

A: The Tokina SZ 500mm f/8 Reflex MF Lens (Nikon Z Mount) has no electronics and does not generate EXIF data.

Q: 7. Does this fit directly on Olympus OMD EM1 mark III or is a mount required (which if required)?

Q: 8. Would this be a good lens for a solar eclipse? I have a Nikon Z6II

A: The Tokina SZ 500mm f/8 Reflex MF Lens (Nikon Z Mount) is a mirror lens that gives you a lot of zoom for an inexpensive price. You will need a solar filter for this. Be aware of the onion effect that is sometimes visible with lenses of this design.

Q: 9. Will focus peaking work when mounyed to a OLY OMD EM1 mkII?

A: Focus Peaking will work on the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II with the Tokina SZX 400mm f/8 Reflex MF Lens for Micro Four Thirds.

Q: 10. Could you use this for photographing the moon, or non-moving wildlife?

A: Yes, you will have to bump up your iso to compensate for the small aperture of f/8.
