A: Hi, I do both color and black and white on the Pro Platinum paper. I like it for both color and B&W. The black and white prints are crisp and pick up the various shades from black to white. P.B.

Q: 4. What's the thickness (.mil) of this paper?

A: I do not know the .mil, but it is 48 lb. Purchased this and would do so again--nice weight and has no problem going through my inkjet printer. Used it for old photos. It was also used to make signs for school, which was then laminated. Works great and highly recommend!

Q: 5. Will this sampler work with the Epson 3880?

A: Although I have not run all the paper types yet, the ones I have used had no problems running through the 3880

A: The Inkpress Media Adhesive Luster Paper uses a permanent adhesive so it would damage a painted wall when removed.

Q: 8. Are the holding pins ( they look like staples ) that fasten the bars together also included? I buy this same box ( MFR # 14600011 ) from a local supplier and it does.

A: Yes, the holding pins would be included with this item.

In trying to decide what type of paper I would use for my final project, I ordered this sample pack. I printed the same photo (in color and black and white) on each type of paper to compare. This will not only be valuable to me this semester but also for future references to what paper will work for the photo I'm printing. A good investment! 5

So far I have tried 3 prints on 3 separate types of paper in this sample pack and have been blown away. I worked on some fine art portraits that were well suited to the natural fibers of the paper and they are stunning. The Rice paper is very thin, almost like a typing paper. At first I was apprehensive thinking that the ink would ripple the paper, but after 2 days it has proven to lay flat. I'm not sure what type of framing treatment would work best with the look, but the print itself is SHARP and very detailed. The Bamboo holds incredible and is very rigid paper. The feel and texture are a dream for people who appreciate tactile qualities of real prints. The Book paper is whiter than the Rice and Bamboo but still has a firm feel with a nice tooth. Looking forward to trying the rest. Not disappointed so far. (I did download the ICC profiles from Hahnemuhle. Worked perfectly.) 5

A really great paper company and a fine selection of their matte papers. A good time to try out different textures and ICC profiles. Trouble I'm having is deciding which I like better than the other. 5

I have always loved Hahnemuhle fine art papers and this sampler is an excellent way to try a few sheets and see how they perform in order to figure out which works best for you. 5
