I purchased this strap specifically because I've had issues with neck pain and am happy to report that this is an excellent strap. I keeps the strap from climbing up you neck and the flexible adjustments hold the camera at your side when you want and allow you to quickly bring the camera to eye level when you want. I've only had it a few weeks but look forward to traveling with it in the future.

As a sports photographer I often use 2 camera body's. The big lense goes on the monopod and the other attaches to my black rapid. I swing up the the second camera so much that the carabiner on the strap started to wear thru after 5 years of use. Never hesitated buying a new BlackRapid sport strap. I also have the BR double strap harness for weddings and events.

I shoot mostly wildlife and handheld in the field. This strap securely provides protection for a combination of a long zoom or prime and a camera, when attached to the tripod mount on the lens. Extremely well made and designed and the new underarm strap improves its ease of use over the older model.

I'm grateful that BlackRapid made a version of this camera strap for left-handed users, even if we're a small subset of their demographic. Very secure to use once I learned that the camera can be held in place by the hip using the two bumper locks.

I will say that the BlackRapid camera straps seem to work well with heavier cameras, or when I used a heavier lens. For example, when using a Lumix GH5 with a native lens, without the bumper locks, the camera and lens are too light, so the camera jiggles around the waist. With a heavier lens, such as the Sigma 18-55mm lens with speedbooster, the camera strap works wonders. I assume that since the camera strap was originally designed for event photographers back when heavy DSLRs were popular, the appeal of this product makes sense. However, with a light mirrorless camera, I would only use this for events where I need to shoot for hours at a time and when I need a camera ready for action instead of laying on a table.

I visited the B&H store for the first time, and I picked up this shoulder sling. I am very happy not only with the quality but the build of the sling. This product is something I would recommend to other photographers.
