The Monitor Arm for Camera MAC-1 from ARRI enables you to mount your Camera Control Monitor directly on your ALEXA Mini LF or ALEXA 35 camera. This arm mounts securely on your camera's 3/8"-16 Pin Lock thread. It comes with both a 1/4"-20 Pin Lock and SmallHD 2-pin monitor mount inserts.

A: This bracket is designed for the Focus 7. The DH7 may work as well, as it does have a 1/4"-20 threading on the side of it. However the combination of this bracket and the DH7 is unknown at this time, it would have to be something one would test out to see the results. It may be possible though.

Q: 6. Does this unit work with the Canon 40D ?

A: Yes, using composite video instead of HDMI, this should work with a Canon 40D. You will, however, need an RCA coupler (B&H # TEARCAFRCAF) to connect the composite video cable that came with your 40D to the composite video cable that comes with this monitor (both cables are 1/8 male to RCA male).
