This 72mm CPL UV Lens Filter Kit from Neewer provides you a set of basic filters that are great for anyone looking to get more out of their lenses. Both filters feature an optical glass construction for durability and 30 layer nano multi-coating for lasting quality. Their ultra-slim aluminum frames also help to prevent vignetting even on wider angle lenses, and the non-slip pattern makes them easy to grip for adjustment, attachment, or removal. The UV filter provides an added layer of protection without compromising light transmission, helping prevent scratches, dust, dirt, and water from damaging your lens. The CPL filter offers you more control of polarized light in your images, allowing you to reduce or enhance contrast by rotating the filter until you reach the desired effect. This means you can eliminate reflections on non-metal surfaces like water or glass, or enhance the color of skies and clouds.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this the same XF 18mm f2 R lens that I used with my X-E1 back in 2014 or is this a new updated model?

A: This lens was originally released in 2012.

Q: 2. This works for a7sii?

A: If this camera has a crop sensor mode, the lens would work. However, because it is designed for APS-C sensor size, the image captured would not fill the sensor size on the a7sii. Would be better off with a lens designed for the Sony FE mount.

Q: 3. Hi, I am new to the Panasonic family. I am purchasing the Lumix S5iix. What is the correct part number for the 50 MM 1.8?

A: The Panasonic Lumix S 50mm f/1.8 Lens with UV Filter Kit is compatible with the Panasonic Lumix S5 IIX Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 4. Can this lens do manual focus and all all the other focus modes on the a6000?

A: Yes, it does.

Q: 5. Would this lens work to take children's indoor sports shots? Would it fit on a Fuji S8500?

A: The focal length will be too short for kids indoor sports. My favorite lens for that use is the Fuji 90mm f2. The focal length is great and the bright aperture works indoors without a flash.

Q: 6. Does the Sony SEL35F18 connect to the NEX6 or does an adapter need to be purchased?

A: The Sony 35mm 1.8 OSS will work for the NEX 6, without any need for an adapter.

Q: 7. Does this lens (referring to physical length / size) cause any shadows to be cast in the final picture when using the built in flash on the XT-10?

A: I use this lens on an X Pro2 so I can't really answer the Q. But it is a very short and not very wide lens. I can't imagine that it would interfere in any way.

Q: 8. Does this work with a Sony SLTa33?

A: I'm not familiar with the a33 camera but if it's along the lines of the other SLT cameras (i.e., a55, a57, a65, etc) then no this lens will NOT work as you will need to use an A-mount lens. I know the E-mount lenses work primarily with the Sony NEX series of cameras but I am not sure what other cameras it could work on beyond those. Good luck!

Q: 9. Does barrel distortion increase when shooting with nikon Z8 in DX mode?

A: The barrel distortion does not increase when shooting in DX mode. Due to the crop, it actually should be less noticable. If you're shooting RAW, the distortion is easily corrected by softwares like Adobe Lightroom, or Capture One. Alternatively if you are shooting JPEG, you can go into the Z8's Photo Shooting Menu. You will find "Auto distortion control", if you enable this function you will eliminate the distortion in both DX & FX modes.

Q: 10. is it possible to use this lens ( Fujifilm 18mm f/2.0 XF R Lens ) on aps-c based Nikon camera , and if there is adapter for that ?

A: Nope. distance from flange to focal plane already shorter than Nikon, so no adapter is possible. use Nikon's excellent 35/1.8 on their APS-C cameras.
