Dedicated to select Leica Q and SL-Series cameras, the BP-SCL6 is an 7.2V, 2200mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery offering 18% more power than the previous generation. Its unique design is inserted directly into the base of the camera and it can be charged via the BC-SCL4 Charger. Also, the battery can be charged in-camera via USB-C or, with the Q3, can be charged wirelessly when the HG-DC1 Handgrip is installed.

I own a Leica SL2-S and its battery life is rather short. The new Leica battery extends it, which is a big plus when out busily shooting. It's also cheaper than the old battery, so why one buy one? 5

Improved battery life, and works with older cameras like the Q2, SL2/SL2-S, in addition to the Q3 as well as cheaper than the older Q2/SL2 battery! Can't go wrong with this battery! Great addition to the Leica accessory lineup! 5
