Q: 10. IS the mic clip for the stand included with the stage kit?

A: Yes, the mic clip is included and will be found in the box with the microphone. Very often manufacturers will ship the mic clip with a little insert that allows use with boom poles. I've been using the predecessor EV ND367 mics for many years - and given them as presents to fellow musicians - I just bought this pair of EV ND76 mics as a gift for my musical partner - we all swear by them and we have never found a fault - really fine sound, noise-free, and articulate (fast enough to mic cymbals) - well-built and durable

I recently filmed a local music band using 2 (two)separate E835 Cardioid Handheld Dynamic Microphones, which I purchased from B&H. ... I hooked both microphones to my Cannon XL2 using 2(two) 25 feet XLR cables, which I also purchased from B&H. I placed one mic on a boom stand close to the lead Singers amplifier and place another E835 Cardioid Handheld Dynamic Microphone on another boom stand close to the drummer, bass and lead guitars. The sound quality was amazing and above the bands expected standards. The entire band was so pleased with how the sound came out. Actually, they said, it was the best sound they have heard from a live performance rehearsal. So, I will add, the E835 Cardoid Handheld Dynamic microphone is capable of capturing a high quality performance of sound. Great for live performances too. The sound was so great, we decided to edit the live performance and make a music video using the recorded performance with the E835 Handheld Dynamic mics. You will not be let down with this mic and the price is great and worth it.

First off, I'm a professional in the audio/video industry. I use equipment like this every day. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't go around purchasing sub-$ microphones for most of my work. That said, however, this microphone surprises me. It has the look and feel of standard professional microphones and the sound quality is more than acceptable. I'm using two of these mics for podcast recording. It's just two of us sitting around a table, very low-tech. As long as we're close to the mics, they have pretty strong output and reject a lot of the room noise. If you back up too much, the volume drops drastically. It's not really that much of a problem for our setup though. Like any microphone, popping is a problem if you get too close, as well as proximity effect. There is a nice sweet spot, and you just have to experiment to find it.The mics I purchased are all black, no silver grill like is seen in most photos of the mic. Didn't matter to me very much because I like the all-black look (just wanted to mention it to avoid surprises). The mics have a pro feel to them because they are metal housed and are fairly heavy.I'd highly recommend the PVi 100 for small recording projects like podcasts, and for small public address systems. I haven't had an opportunity to test one in a large room with a big system yet, so I can't really comment there, but I suspect it would do well. I wouldn't use it for pro voice over projects and maybe not for micing several people at once. Overall, the PVi 100 is a good microphone and for what you'll pay, it's excellent! I'm very happy with mine.

I needed a better mic than what we had for speaking events. This gave increased clarity and volume. Feedback was also noticeably lessened. In fact, the only feedback I've gotten was because the monitor speaker was bouncing sound off of a cement wall back at the mic. Other than that, it's been great and well worth the price.
