A: Hi, I have the switch installed with 4 different devices to one single projector. When I change away from device 1 to device 2, I dont know what device 1 does until I get back to it. When I do, device 1 outputs to te projector with no issues.So, to summarize my experience: I can change from any device to any other device back and forth and I have had no issues in doing that.Hope it helps.

A: Yes and no. If you have both devices running at the same time and turn one off it will not automatically switch. However if you have one on, say a blue ray and turn it off then turn on the second device, say a gaming console it will recognize that your blue ray is off and automatically switch to your gaming console. It also comes with a remote that can manually switch between the three inputs as well.

A: Yes, you can. Or I prefer to use the IR remote. And I know that 1 is the cable TV and 2 is the computer so I don't ever need to look. But there is a blue LED light on the top of the switch that lights up next to whichever switch is activated.
