When you need to move an accessory further from your rig, use this 1.1" Offset Bracket with Pins from Wooden Camera to push it out further. The lightweight 2 x 1" bracket features a 3/8"-16 female thread with locating divots, and on the other end, there is a 3/8"-16 screw with movable locating pins.

The threads are offset 1.1" apart, so you can add just enough space from your rig. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. This mount appears to be tilt only - has anyone found a neat product solution that can attach so I can pan my Cine 5 as well?

A: If you look at the provided link, you will see a list of excellent choices of monitor swivels that can accommodate both horizontal and vertical motions: https://bhpho.to/3YFq6gO.

Q: 2. Will this cord connect a Sekonic 478DR light meter to an Alienbee B800 light or a Canon 580 ExII flash to meter them?

A: This cord on it's own won't be suitable for either application. I think the Alienbee comes with a 1/4 jack so you'll need a 3.5 mm adapter to use this cord - I don't know if PCB supply the strobe with the adapter. There's no 3.5 mm socket on the 580EX (it's mini PC only) so you'll need a hotshot adapter or just get the PC to PC cord. I'm sure there's a reason you want to use a cord but have you thought about using the meter in cordless mode and just trigger the flash(es) with whatever device you are intending to fire them. Also, it's a more expensive solution but since you have the DR version of the 478 meter have you thought about investing in some Pocketwizards? No cords, no adapters, very convenient and very reliable. I use the Plus IIIs but the Plus X twin pack looks like great value and will work with any other Pocketwizard.

Q: 3. With the PC Sync end plugged into my camera (Canon R5 / 5D), would the other end plug into the Canon ST-E3-RT Transmitter (not attached to the hot shoe) to trigger the flash?

A: Yes, but will offer no TTL metering.

Q: 4. Will this sync cord work with a Calumet Genesis 200?

A: This sync cord can work with any strobe that uses a 3.5mm miniphone sync connection like a Calumet Genesis 200.

Q: 5. What's the weight capacity?

A: There isn't a specific weight limit from Wooden Camera, but through testing I would say less than 3 lbs.

Q: 6. Is there a particular Baby Pin stud that works really well with this receiver? It always kind of loose and flops around with some of the baby pin studs we tried.

A: Matthews Studio Equipment is a solid brand to choose from.

Q: 7. Is the Baby Pin on this bracket supposed to wiggle or is there any Baby Pin that will make this rock solid so the Director Monitor doesn't move at all once the screw is tightened? I am not sure what is the intended state.

A: Once you tighten the screw the Wooden Camera Bottom Bracket for Director's Monitor Cage v3 will not move. Over the day you will need to continually tighten it given that people are most likely handling the monitor via touch screen or rotating it on the baby stand.

Q: 8. Will it work with my minolta srt101 and with the flash minolta auto132X?

A: The Impact Sync Cord - Male PC to Sub Mini - 18" (45 cm) B&H # IMPCMSMM18 would fit the Minolta Auto 132X flash so you can trigger it from the SRT-101. https://bhpho.to/2ZG4yjc

Q: 9. Will this screw into Wooden Camera NATO Quick Release Clamp BH #WO148700 MFR #148700 Will the threads line up?

A: Yes, Wooden Camera EVF Bracket Adapter for Canon C200/C200B will work and connect to the Wooden Camera NATO Quick Release Clam BH #WO148700.

Q: 10. Will this mount to a Bolt 6 TX?

A: Yes, the Wooden Camera Offset Mounting Bracket for Teradek Bolt 4K LT TX is also fully compatible across the Bolt 6 ecosystem's TX.
