The Telescopic Baby Stand Extension from Impact is a functional addition to any photo or video set. It features a 5/8" baby receiver, a 5/8" baby stud, and three telescoping sections that will extend the height of a light stand from 17.6 to 49". Thick telescoping sections are rigid and stable for when you need to put your lights and accessories in hard-to-reach or inaccessible places. Strong metal brake castings in each lock prevent lights and accessories from slipping or rotating out of position. This extension can also be used to add more length for placing a light, camera, microphone, or even a reflector exactly where it's needed. If you need the extra height then it would be better to use a lower payload than what the stand was rated for or use Sand Bags on the bottom of the stand to increase stability.
