Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What are the dimensions of the lens?

A: This lens is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter at its widest point. And about 2 inches in height.

Q: 2. Is this lens compatible with the Sony a5100 ?

A: I shoot it on my a6300 and it works great! I don't see why it won't work just as well on a a5100. It's a simple lens that has manual AF and aperture and it takes great pictures on the a6300.

Q: 3. is a lens pouch included in the box?

A: No , lens pouch is not included in the box

Q: 4. Anyone own this and the TT 35mm f1.4? Which do you like better?

A: The TTArtisan 35mm f/1.4 Lens for FUJIFILM X would be better if you need a shorter minimum focusing distance. Otherwise both lenses are excellent in terms of low light performance and sharpness.

Q: 5. Will Fuji X series focus assist function with this lens?

A: Yes it does , focus peaking

Q: 6. Can this lens be used on a X-Pro1?

A: The 7artisans Photoelectric 35mm f/1.2 Mark II Lens for FUJIFILM X is compatible with the Fuji X-Pro1 camera.

Q: 7. Hola is compatibility with Nikon d7100

A: No. This is for the Nikon Z-series Z-mount cameras (yours if an F-mount camera), such as the Z50 / Z5 / Z6 / Z6 II / Z7 / Z7 II.

Q: 8. It is compatible with Nikon Z5?

A: The 7artisans Photoelectric 35mm f/1.2 Lens for Nikon Z is a DX format lens. It can be mounted on the Z5 but because the Z5 is an FX camera, you would need to set the Z5 to DX mode. DX mode reduces the resolution to 11mp and crops the image by 1.5x. The Yasuhara Anthy35 35mm f/1.8 Lens for Nikon Z would be a better option for a full frame camera such as the Z5.: https://bhpho.to/3k9Lu9w

Q: 9. May I use this lens with panasonic lumix g85 camera ???

A: Yes, the 7artisans Photoelectric 35mm f/1.2 Lens for Micro Four Thirds (Black) would be compatible for use with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G85 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera. Do note the 7artisans Photoelectric 35mm f/1.2 Lens is a fully manual lens, so you will have to focus the lens manually and set the aperture using the aperture dial built onto the lens.

Q: 10. Does this come with a lens hood?

A: It does not. B+W makes one you could use. https://bhpho.to/2YGkoJ6

I looked at a lot of lenses before choosing this one but I am extremely happy with my choice . I honestly didn't even know that this lens existed and wouldn't have found it if not for the way B&H has their website and menu set up to show you even more than you are looking at . I was trying to decide between the Fuji lenses to go with my camera purchase of the Fuji X-T3 when the lens page prompted me to see All comparable lenses . Finding this lens was just what I wanted and I had no idea it even existed . This lens reminds me of the quality that I used to get with my Canon paired with the Sigma 24 - 70 2.8 . This lens is truly awesome in low light situations when you don't want to use a flash. I like moody pictures anyway and the lens is perfect for that type of shooting .This lens is built SO solid and the dials are smooth as silk . I actually love how the aperture ring is on the front of the lens . The colors and the bokeh are painterly and just drop dead gorgeous . If you don't mind taking the time to set up your lens to get the best images then you will love this lens. It gets you in touch with the camera and makes you think about what you are doing . This lens and my new X-T3 camera have made me fall in love with photography all over again . If you have any reservations about buying this lens then stop debating and buy it .

Im so glad with this lens ! It creates such beautiful images with a great character ! The lens is quite heavy but not too much (with x-t3 body). The focus peaking helps a lot, and even if I still have a lot of miss focusing, each time I have one correctly focused image its a crazy picture !

I dont think it will be my go-to lens but more my creative lens that Ill use complementary with my 23mm f/2 and my 50mm f/2.

If youre hesitating, just buy it, you wont regret :)

This is a fun lens! It gives me the most depth-of-field control of any lens in my bag. It's sharp, it renders really nice color, and it lends good personality to the images it makes. Built like a tank, the manual focus ring is a little tight (probably a good thing), but gives excellent control. The overall quality and performance of this lens is very much on par with what you get when you buy Fuji. Highly recommended!

I've spent the last hour with this on both my X-Pro2 and X-Pro3. I'm absolutely stoked on the IQ. Much is made of the razor thin depth of field in online reviews, but it's not that bad to work with. Focus peaking makes it a treat, but is definitely easier on the XP3 with the larger EVF display.

The rendering is fantastic, as everyone says it is. Images have a pop to them that I really like and the bokeh quality is beautiful. I believe this will be living on one of the two XP bodies permanently.

The aperture ring is very easy to move, being non-detented. I've heard folks say they've used a little gaffers tape to permanently put the lens at f0.95. I've found that I'm already developing a habit to slide it into f0.95 while holding the camera (which is easy with the aperture ring on the outside). Like anything, you've gotta develop a relationship with it that works for you. So far, I can see it'll work well for me.

On the XP3, you've gotta be aware that it'll rub against the bezel around the lens release button. Apparently not all copies do this, but it's a thing. Clearance on the XP2 is no problem. That minor niggle doesn't really bother me though as I don't think it'll be anything more than a cosmetic issue on the XP3. Folks suggest it might put pressure on the lens mount ring, but I dunno. I bought my XP3 second hand and I'm planning on using the hell out of it, as I have my XP2. Not gonna be bothered by a little scratch.
