Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this lens will work on a Nikon. I've got a Nikon D3000 with the kit AF-s Nikkor 55-200mm lens.

A: Yes, this close-up filter will fit on your Nikon 55-200mm lens. Filters are not brand specific, but rather lens specific. This filter is 52mm in size and can be used on any lens with a 52mm sized filter thread, including your Nikon 55-200mm lens.

Q: 2. Are Canon 250D and 500D Close up lenses compatible with Canon EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact Macro Lens?

A: Yes, the following lens offers a 52mm thread size.

Q: 3. What's the difference between th Nikon 40mm and the Nikon 40mm (SE)?

A: The Nikon NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 (SE) Lens has a "vintage retro design" that looks like older Nikon lenses; optically, it's identical to the Nikon NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 Lens.

Q: 4. I noticed in the overview it says the close-up lens as compatible with EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact Macro, is it also compatible with Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II?

A: Yes, this close-up filter can be used on any lens with a 52mm filter thread. The Canon 50mm f1.8 II lens has a 52mm sized filter thread so you could use them together.

Q: 5. wil this fit the 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di II VC HLD?

A: Yes, this will work with the Tarmon 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di II VC HLD Lens.

Q: 6. Will this work with Nikon 300mm PF VR f4 and Nikon D7200 DSLR ?

A: The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR Lens has 77 mm filter thread so the Canon 52mm 250D Close-up Lens will not be compatible.

Q: 7. Will they fit the Sigma 18-35(72mm) Art lens?

A: excellent..I still using it and all my cameras have it!!

Q: 8. Can you still put the lens hood on?

A: No. The typical Nikon lens hood will not fit onto the lens with the lens rim in place. However the lens rim does offer great protection for the longer lens that tends to whack hard objects while I climb to the upper deck of a whale watch boat. Also the lens rim will still accommodate a filter, like a circular polarizer, providing quick easy access to adjust the filter.

Q: 9. Would it fit my Nikon D7000 58-55 lens?

A: I'm going to assume you are speaking about 2 different lenses? if so, the nikon 58mm takes a 72mm filter, so, no this would not work. the 55mm lens on the other hand takes a 52mm filter, so this cap should work.

Q: 10. Will this lens cap or any other on B&H work for the Nikon Zoom-Nikkor 35-70mm 1:3.54.8 lens?

A: Yes, this is the proper sized lens cap for the Nikon 35-70mm 1:3.54.8 lens.

I use the polarizer primarily to darken skies and to cut reflections. The filter screws on well without messing up the threads. It does what it is supposed to do. I just wish it came with a better casing that you could use to carry it around with.

I've been using Tiffen filters for awhile now and they work really well. Their cost won't break your bank too.

This is by far the cheapest 77mm polarizer around and like everyone else has said it's not a general brand it's tiffen and works excellent! Solid build and great polarization!
