The Gra-Vue XIO 9000VSD-RC 1 x 7 SD-SDI / ASI Signal Distribution Amplifier distributes 1 SD-SDI signal to 7 outputs with re-clocking. It supports SD-SDI input signals with embedded audio and automatic input detection of 525i 60 and 625i 50. It can also process and distribute ASI signals.

The XIO 9000VSD-RC Distribution Amplifier provides automatic signal equalization and re-clocking for long cable applications. This improves the signal quality and reduces signal loss caused by long distance transmission of input sources. The LED lights on the module indicate the status of input signals and power supply. The amplifier also supports SNMP and can be real-time managed and monitored via the XIO NET Network Management Module (sold separately) via Ethernet.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this be configured so that Input 1 is routed to two outputs, and Input 2 is routed to the other two?

A: Yes, in 2x4 mode the Freakshow HD 2x4 12G-SDI Switchable Reclocking Distribution Amplifier (Coaxial Connector) will take the A input and distribute to output 1 and 2. The B input will distribute to output 3 and 4.

Q: 2. Is there a way to output both sources at the same time Creating 2 inputs with 3 outputs each

A: We’re afraid not. It has an A/B switch to select with SDI input you use for the outputs of the DA. You cannot split it out in that way.

Q: 3. This Kramer claims to boost HDMI signal to increase cable length. To what length? From reviewer comments it seems the cable can additively play a part in boost distance (ie boosted distance + cable capability = total distance).

A: Absolutely. I would not consider a DA a booster but only a DA. For installation I would install the DA as close to the source as possible, no more than a 6' cable and then no more than 50' cable on each output. It is very important to use use high quality cables with any HDMI installation. If you need to go further consider using a twisted pair Rx/Tx setup for best results.

Q: 4. Could I use this to replace a failed Kramer 123VXL?

A: I'm afraid not. The Kramer 123VXL was a Differential Video Line Amplifier with composite connections. This is an SDI Distribution Amp. Instead you'd want to look at the Kramer 104LN, which is a 1x4 Composite Video Line Amplifier, Differential Input.https://bhpho.to/2wDyTRM

Q: 5. Does anyone know if this reclocks the signal?

A: We're afraid not. This is passive, it will not re-clock the signal. For a re-clocked signal you would need to look at the Apantac 3G-SDI 1x4 Re-Clocking Distribution Amplifier, B&H # APDA4HD, instead. https://bhpho.to/2EkR1Ue

Q: 6. Will this pass control data (focus, zoom, talkback) to my Blackmagic studio cameras?

A: Yes, the AVMATRIX 1x4 3G-SDI Distribution Amplifier will pass control data to your Blackmagic Design Studio Camera.

Q: 7. Is the A/B switch a synchronous switch that maintains the timebase at the outputs?

A: This is a reclocking switch that will maintain the timebase.

Q: 8. Hi, Is there any information about the video latency ?

A: A latency specification is not published, but we expect it to be negligible since this is product is designed for broadcast use,.

Q: 9. Is there a mounting bracket for it

A: Please contact Laimonas at info@lsdigi.com They custom make a variety of mounting brackets and would be more than happy to create one for your needs. https://www.lsdigi.com/collections/all

Q: 10. Can this be used to pass through tri-level sync for Genlock purpose? Thanks!

A: Yes, the Kramer 1 x 20 Composite/SDI Video Distribution Amplifier would be able to distribute Sync to up to 20 sources.

Small, simple, functional, and no giant DC power supply. Well done Apantac. Rush Media Co.

I'm running SDI down a 100' of coax and using this splitter to sent my image to two large TVs on stage. It works perfectly.
