The GLXD+FM from Shure increases the available channel count for GLX-D+ wireless systems, allowing you to operate more microphones in the same space. It can be used to provide rock-solid RF performance and frequency management when operating multiple wireless receivers for live events, theater performances, conferences, and other sound reinforcement applications.

The rackmount Frequency Manager system increases channel count and reduces the number of required antennas and power supplies when using multiple GLXD4R+ receivers simultaneously. It's dual-band technology coordinates receiver scans of both the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz spectrums, choosing the one with the largest number of clean frequencies.

Additionally, the wireless receivers can operate in the most spectrally efficient manner. If there is interference, the system automatically transitions to backup frequencies. The unit pools the backup frequencies from all the connected receivers together, so they can be deployed to any of the receivers instantly as needed without dropouts. The GLXD+FM provides power for up to six GLXD4R+ receivers, which eliminates the need for power strips or multiple outlets. Cascade up to two additional frequency managers for a total of 16 channels at the same time.

Dual-band technology coordinates GLXD4R+ receiver scans of the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz RF environment

Guarantees use of the clearest possible transmission and backup frequencies

Links multiple GLXD4R+ receivers via RF ports for traditional antenna distribution

Allows for remote mounting of antennas in optimal locations for increased signal stability

Link up to six GLXD4R+ receivers on a single frequency manager

Cascade up to 2 additional frequency managers and use up to 11 GLXD4R+ receivers in typical application environments (up to 16 under optimal conditions).

Uses data communication via RF cables to create and manage the receiver community

Bidirectional communication link enables transmitters to follow receiver frequency changes automatically

Identifies and assigns optimal frequencies to receiver and transmitter pairs

In case of interference, automatically and seamlessly transitions to backup frequencies

Provides power to the GLXD4R+ receivers, eliminating need for power strips or multiple outlets

Operates in the globally unlicensed 2.4 and 5.8 GHz frequency bands

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. without the do-it-all handle, any other way to connect it to osmo pocket 2?

A: For an alternate connection, you will need to use the DJI USB-C to 3.5mm Mic Adapter for Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket (BH #DJOP35A • MFR #CP.OS.00000010.02) for an alternate connection between the DJI Pocket 2 and DJI Wireless Microphone Transmitter for DJI Pocket 2 (2.4 GHz).

Q: 2. Will this work as a wireless mic for other cameras of is this somehow designed specifically to only work with the pocket 2? Can I connect to a canon r6 mark II?

A: The DJI Wireless Microphone Transmitter for DJI Pocket 2 (2.4 GHz) is specific to the DJI Pocket 2. For use with various cameras, you will need the DJI Mic 2 Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder for Camera & Smartphone (2.4 GHz), B&H # DJMIC21TX1RX.

Q: 3. Will this work with a Sony PXW-f55?

A: No,please buy LILLIPUT A7S or A12.

Q: 4. will this work for video? Specs seem unclear

A: Theres an A/V input jack on the back but I believe thats only for SD composite video. This monitor is most useful for receiving video from 5.8Ghz wireless sources (e.g. an FPV camera in a remote controlled aircraft sending video to a 5.8 Ghz transmitter) using its built-in receiver.

Q: 5. without the do-it-all handle, any other way to connect it to osmo pocket2?

A: For an alternate connection, you will need to purchase the DJI USB-C to 3.5mm Mic Adapter for Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket (BH #DJOP35A • MFR #CP.OS.00000010.02) and can connect to the Pocket 2 via 3.5mm connection.

Q: 6. Will the TX work with a shure SM63 hand held mic or do I need phantom power? Connecting RX to Sony a7c.

A: The Shure SM63 Dynamic Microphone can be connected to the input on the wireless transmitter for the Godox MoveLink II M2 Compact 2-Person Wireless Microphone System. You can use the Kopul LMT100 Low to High Impedance Matching Transformer (B&H # KOLMT100) as an adapter to enable the connection.

Q: 7. Is this the same mic as the one(s) in the dji wireless mic kit?

A: The DJI Wireless Microphone Transmitter for DJI Pocket 2 (2.4 GHz) is not the same microphone as the DJI Mic Wireless Microphone Kit.

Q: 8. Are there threads on the sides of the monitor to attach handles grips?

A: The 1/4-20" threads located at the side of the monitor can be used for hand grips or any other mounting alternate.

Q: 9. Does this work with the original DJI Osmo Pocket?

A: This is defined as having compatibility only with the Pocket 2.

Q: 10. What is the range of the microphone? 5 feet? 100 feet?

A: The DJI Wireless Microphone Transmitter for DJI Pocket 2 (2.4 GHz) will have a transmission range of less than 100'.
