I needed constant power for my Canon EOS Rebel T7i so I can use it as a webcam (with the EOS Webcam Utility). This works! The combo with the Canon DC Coupler DR-E18 is a little expensive but it's worked flawlessly so far. 5

This does exactly what I expect, powers the camera instead of using a battery. I've been using my camera as a webcam while I work from home and was starting to get frustrated when I wouldn't have video available because I accidentally left the camera on and drained the battery. With this adapter, that is no longer an issue and my team gets to see me in every meeting now. 5

It is terrific for having a camera set on a bird feeder that I hung outside of our bedroom window. I use a wireless shutter control so that I can be a birder from bed. I don't have to stop and change the battery periodically - usually missing a great shot. 5
