Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the paper expiry date?

A: The FUJIFILM Fujicolor Crystal Archive Type II Paper (8 x 10", Matte, 100 Sheets) is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our papers prior to purchase.

Q: 2. Can you print on this paper with a Canon PRO-1 printer?

A: No, you cannot. The FUJIFILM Fujicolor Crystal Archive Type II Paper (8 x 10", Matte, 100 Sheets), B&H # FUCAT2P810M, is chemical darkroom paper designed to be exposed to light and processed using color photographic chemistry, and is specifically designed for use with the Fujifilm Frontier 570 Minilab Machine, though it will also work with the Fujifilm Frontier 330, 340, 350, 355, 370, 375, 390, 570 machines.. It is not designed for use with inkjet printing. You would have to look for paper designed for inkjet printing usage needs for use with the Canon PIXMA PRO-100 Wireless Professional Inkjet Photo Printer.

Q: 3. I've been using this paper for over 5 years but the last two boxes I've bought of this paper haven't been true 11x14 size. A tiny bit bigger which means it doesn't fit in my Delta1 proof holder for doing contact sheets. Has anyone else had this problem? It's really annoying having to trim every sheet a fraction of an inch so it will fit in the holder.

A: The paper I bought on September 9th actually has opposite problem. The sheets are about a 1/16 short. The emulsion number is 887108 A/91. We do most of our contact sheets digitally so we use very little sheet paper, maybe 300 sheets a year, and we just use an over sized piece of acrylic when we are contacting. sorry I couldn't be more help.Keith

Q: 4. Can l use for canon 1000?

A: This would work with the Canon PROGRAF PRO-1000 printer, but you wold not have any ICC profiles for it.

Q: 5. Does this paper stretch and shrink with changes in temperature or humidity?

A: it should not stretch or shrink with temp or humidity changes./

Q: 6. this paper is only tobe used with minilab or can it be used with a digital printer as a canon ipf 9400?

A: FUJIFILM Fujicolor Crystal Archive Type II Paper (8 x 10", Lustre, 100 Sheets) is for darkroom use only. For an inkjet like the IPF9400, you can use this paper instead: https://bhpho.to/2n6Ijnv

Q: 7. Does this roll have a 3 core?

A: Yes it does have a 3 core.

Q: 8. Is this size roll length compatible with a Canon IPF6350?

A: Yes, If yours is a 24 inch width printer. But You need the roller with the smaller roll diameter, which we had to purchase to use the paper. Our normal roll diameter is 4 and the luster paper had a 2 roll diameter. So the cost of that was around $80-100 from Canon.

Q: 9. This might be a challenge! I use Capture One Pro with Canon's Pixma Pro-100. the Profiles are loaded in C1. When using LU-101, it gives me 2 profiles: "3 photo paper pro luster" and "1/2 photo paper pro luster". What the heck is the difference? The "3" versus the "1/2" has me flummoxed.

A: The difference is related to the quality that you selected in the driver. Lower numbers are higher quality. The idea is to match the quality you selected in the drive dialog with the appropriate profile.

Q: 10. Does this paper work with the Epson R2400 printer?

A: You MUST call Epson. I have the1400 and it turns out that I could not. Looking at the website for the paper can be misleading, so call them before you buy.
