This 112mm UV Lens Filter (Plus+) from Urth cuts ultraviolet light to sharpen images while protecting lenses from scratches, oil, knocks, and water. By cutting UV light's blue haze, the UV Plus+ filter improve sharpness and clarity in photographs, but doesn't affect camera settings, which means it can be left on a lens at all times. UV light's blue haze softens details and image quality, especially on hazy days. This UV Plus+ filter cuts out 99.6% of ultraviolet light for sharper details.

Made from industry-leading German B270 Schott optical glass, which is coated with a 30-layer nano-coating for improved sharpness and added protection. The coating also resists water, oil, and abrasions for long life and easy cleaning.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what is the weight of the lens? Not the package weight, but the just the lens.

A: Excluding front/rear lens caps and the lens hood, the FUJIFILM XF 14mm f/2.8 R Lens weighs 8.29 oz (235g).

Q: 2. Actual photos of used lens?

A: No, the photo for the Panasonic Lumix S 50mm f/1.8 Lens is that of a new one.

Q: 3. Is the 14mm (21mm in full-frame) field of view visible in the optical & electronic viewfinders of the Fuji X-P-pro2?

A: Yes, it is fully compatible with the Xpro2.

Q: 4. Would this lens fit a Sony A200? If so, good results?

A: This not possible that I know of as this Lens is designed for E-mount cameras while A200 is an A-mount camera. So you will not be able mount the lens. Why not just buy the a-mount 35 mm f/1.8 lens, with the added benefit that it will cost you $200 less.

Q: 5. Have any of you tested this Z 20 mm prime (or the Z 24 mm 1.8) to the 20 mm on the Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens, particularly for astro images? I'm a big fan of the old Ai-S 20 mm and 24 mm lenses and am wondering if the 20 mm and 24 mm focal distances on the zoom are as good, or nearly as good as the new Z primes of the same focal lengths. I'm debating between the primes and the zoom. Thanks for your time, Andy

A: We have not tested the lenses side by side for optical performance but based on customer feedback so far, more people are using the 20mm f1.8 for astrophotography than the 14-24mm.

Q: 6. This works for a7sii?

A: If this camera has a crop sensor mode, the lens would work. However, because it is designed for APS-C sensor size, the image captured would not fill the sensor size on the a7sii. Would be better off with a lens designed for the Sony FE mount.

Q: 7. Is this lens good for Astro photography?

A: The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24mm f/1.8 S Lens is a good lens for astrophotography. It offers sharp images and has a wide 1.8 aperture that offers great quality in low light. However, it has some coma aberration at the corners, which is when the stars look like arrows instead of dots. A lens that has less coma aberration is the Venus Optics Laowa 15mm f/2 FE Zero-D Lens for Nikon Z (B&H # VE1520NZ), but it is only manual focus. For night photos, you will only use manual focus and manual exposure anyway.

Q: 8. Hi, I am new to the Panasonic family. I am purchasing the Lumix S5iix. What is the correct part number for the 50 MM 1.8?

A: The Panasonic Lumix S 50mm f/1.8 Lens with UV Filter Kit is compatible with the Panasonic Lumix S5 IIX Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 9. Is this a good lens for astrophotography on the z6 ?

A: For shooting the Milkyway or aurora borealis or star trails, yes.

Q: 10. Can you use filters on this lens?

A: Yes. This lens takes 77mm filters.
