A: This is a great vest and I am very happy with my purchase. I have the X-Large Khaki and find that it fits my 48 chest just fine. It is a bit loose when wearing just a t-shirt but that is nice because it allows for more breathability when it is warm outside. An X-Large will be loose enough to allow the vest to be worn over a sweatshirt or jacket in the colder months too, which is a huge consideration. If you want to use the vest in winter, it needs to be on the large side. Better to go larger than smaller.

A: There is one more thing that bothers me somewhat about not just this particular vest, but other vest manufacturers as well. After a lengthy period of wearing these vests, and the washing and wearing that goes on, is that the front of the vest, especially on and around the the pockets area, there is a sort of browning effect that eventually occurs.
