A compact, lightweight design and a wide field of view make the 1-8x24 Vantage 30 WA Riflescope from Hawke Optics a good choice for general hunting. Eleven layers of antireflection coating on all lens surfaces deliver a sharp image with ample contrast. The scope features a single-piece 30mm maintube with 210 MOA of elevation and windage adjustment at 1/2 MOA per click for long-distance shots. The L4A Fiber Dot reticle in the second focal plane gives a clean and uninterrupted view of your target, with an extra-bright red dot in the center. The scope is set to be parallax-free at 100 yards, and the sealed aluminum housing is purged with nitrogen to be fog and water resistant.

Q: 1. what is the folded diameter of this tripod?

A: The RC-5570 Tripod in its folded position measures in diameter approximately 150 mm at the top, and approximately 65 mm at the bottom.

      Q: 2. Where are the 6 Q&A?

A: Below the recommended accessories, there are tabs, one of which says Q&A.

Q: 3. Will this work with the Arca-Swiss Monoball P0 with Panning System ? or is the tripod base too big ?

A: It will work, you will probably have a 1/2" extra around the base. Typically tripods without center columns have similar size discs or flat plates. If you wanted a smaller base for the head, you can look at tripods with center columns.

Q: 4. Can I mount my ball head directly to the tripod or do I need to purchase a center column? Thanks

A: Yes. You will mount the head directly to the apex with the 3/8"-16 mounting screw.

Q: 5. Where is this Robus tripod made? Also is it waterproof construction... can it be used in streams and water?

A: Country of origin China and this is Carbon Fiber Tripod You can use it in any water (salt or streams ) carbon fiber does not rust

A: The Benro B3 Triple Action Ball Head, B&H # BEB3 is a suitable ball head for this tripod.

Q: 8. How is this tripod compared to the LeoFoto LN-364C? Thank you.

A: Both have similar specifications on paper. In terms of differences, the Leofoto LN-364C is just a tad bit lighter in weight and shorter in folded length. The Robus 8860 has a 10-year warranty compared to the Leofoto's 2-year limited. The Robus also comes with more feet accessories than the Leofoto.

Q: 9. Would this be a good tripod to use with the Edelkrone JibONE?

A: This is an excellent choice for the Eldelkrone JibOne. You should definitely weight it down with something like a sandbag or a bag filled with heavy gear with the provided hook.

Q: 10. Will my Benro G2 gimbal head attach to this tripod?

A: The Robus RC-5570 Vantage Series 3 Carbon Fiber Tripod has a 3/8"-16 head mount screw. It is compatible with all Benro heads including the GH2 Gimbal Head.

This is my first high end tripod and head. I went more than I needed and glad I did for any future lens, etc. I purchased the tripod/head combo for my Sigma long lens (150-600mm). It was easy and quick to attach the head and get the unit functional. I have only used it about three times, and in one instance I was able to take a series of up-close shots of a red shouldered hawk that flew nearby while I was shooting a close-up of a Northern Mockingbird. The swivel and swing of the gimble head really worked well on a very solid tripod that was steady and stable, along with be really a breeze to level off on uneven ground as I got within some 20 to 30 feet of the bird without disturbing my subject. I am very pleased with my purchase as it worth every penny.

So far Ive only used this tripod on a couple of outings, but I like it.  Its sturdy and easily holds my Canon 70D and Sigma 150-600mm lens and easily adjusts.  I suspect that Ill be using this tripod and Gimbal Head for a long time.
