LEDs have irregular spectral patterns, which means that when you filter out certain colors weird and unintended things can happen. It's very common, for example, for things to get super green.I wouldn't recommend it.

A: The halogen lights get hot and will melt the gels. The easiest solution to your problem would be to mount the gels at a safe distance from the lights thereby retaining safety and airflow around the lights themselves. We use a separate stand and a jury-rigged system to hold the gels in place.
