I had an 8-year old Brother printer that had bad connectivity issues in my home mesh WiFi environment. Then the time came that I had to replace all four toners, so instead I spent SIGNIFICANTLY less $$ to purchase this new machine complete with 6-months worth of toner (very light home office use; more scanning than printing).


With this Canon I get modern WiFi to connect to our network. Everyone in the house can easily print from MacBooks, iPads & iPhones via WiFi. The Brother just couldn't find or stay connected to our network. Even plugging into the ethernet didn't solve that so the old printer could only be used w/ a USB cable. There are NONE of those issues with the Canon. Worked right out of the box like I expect from new tech. I'm impressed with the scanning software, too. Better than the Brother app, but YMMV

The ability to print from our mobile devices directly to the the printer without any setup is a amazing too, our kids print out photos all the time from their ipads. holds up to 250 sheets of paper which helps not having to replenish it often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received the box, I was shocked by the size and weight of this printer. It does say to have 2 people lift it. Don't let the size steer you away from buying this printer, it's definitely worth making room for it. It is great any small or large job. It's perfect for home use, small office, and school work. It was packaged extremely well to not be damaged. It is so easy to set up. You pretty much just download the app, plug in the printer, connect it to wifi and print. It takes about 20 minutes to set up the printer and adjust all the settings you need. It has a great 5-inch touchscreen that makes it easy to change the settings. I haven't had any issues connecting it to my wi-fi and it stays connected. The app makes it so easy to print what you need, wirelessly from your phone or computer. It holds plenty of paper so you're not constantly refilling it. You can print, copy, scan, and fax including 2-sided print and 2-sided scan. I printed 200 color flyers so quickly. It prints even fine details clearly with vibrant colors. I love this printer so much and have been recommending it to everyone I know in the market for a new printer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Cannon mb series but it died on me so I got this one as a replacement and it is great. It prints very fast and the quality is great. I mostly print documents but I have printed marketing material with photos and it looks great. The only thing is that it is on the large side so make sure you have the space for it. It is similar in size to the mb series so I didn’t have any troubles finding a space for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is perfect to the t. Let me start off saying it prints 22 pages in a minute and its quality is beyond perfect. It took me a while to get everything working properly but after going over it with my husband I finally found the right solution and after that it was smooth sailing. The way it shoots the paper is awesome I found out this works with chrome book which our child in school was like mom thanks I said you you’re welcome. I do believe this has to be the printer we need it’s fast the wi fi is amazing to be able to print what we need. Overall it’s perfect!

I wanted to move to a color laser printer from a long line of inkjets that didn't last very long. Not to mention ink cartridges that dried out constantly. 50$ or so for ink cartridges rated for ~250 sheets compared to a 75$ toner cartrdige rated for ~1350 sheets. Not to mention better features like the automatic document feeder and double sided scanning. Best printer I have ever owned so far. We will see about the longevity over time.

The printer is easy to use and printer great, the colors are beautiful. Recommend this printer to anyone looking for a great, easy to use printer for home or small office.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CanonUSA - Color imageCLASS MF656Cdw is super easy to setup and only took approximately 30 minutes. It is quite large but it is a workhorse. The colors are fantastic and prints are full color without streaks. The speed is normal but faster for the black/white prints. The packaging was very fine tuned and there is no way things could be damaged. If you're tired of inkjet, this prints the details clearly. It can be configured in lots of ways depending on your needs. I have not needed any new ink or have not had any needs for support, however, I have used Cannon Support before and it was great to work with which is why I have another Cannon product.

Very nice machine it has a lot of very nice features. Easy settings for choosing black and white or color.
