While narrowing it would be nice to capture what a full frame sensor sees with more light.If you have a sony e mount camera with a full frame (FE mount) this will work as best as the lens can do. If you have a sony e mount crop sensor (just E mount) then you might look for an adapter with glass. Almost all FD lenses were made for full frame support.

A: I use the adapter on my Canon XS Rebel which is an EOS camera. The adapter allows me to use my FT lenses from my Canon FT days. It is NOT automatic however. You have to manually focus the camera and select the aperture . You then put the camera in Av mode sot that the lens will set the shutter speed.
