A: Its meant to be on the floor. I suppose You could try have extremely heavy duty brackets strong enough that will be able to hold the weight of the cabinet + your gears if you want to have it on the wall.

A: I chose Sirui. Yet, you have to monitor with at least 2 independent humidity meters in the beginning and for a couple of weeks, to see which setting you should be using. In order to keep the humidity inside at 40%, I had to set it at 52%. That's what my tests proved with four (4) independent humidity meters. Each unit may be different. I monitored it over 1 month at a setting of 52%, and at that setting it keeps humidity between 40-42 constantly, which is perfect. I was also surprised at how much gear you can place inside those units.
