A: Search the b&h website. There are some clamps that will fit both arca and Manfrotto. The problem with manfrotto ball heads is they use a proprietary joint between the ball stem and the clamp. This is why I needed the adapter. So if you get a clamp that fits both it might mount on an arca ball stem without an adapter.
