A: According to the manufacture the color of the laser does not make any difference.There is no specific power for the laser Miops recommends. It depends on the situation. If you are outside and it is bright you most likely need a stronger one than one that is used inside.I have seen it used with a low end one from a stationary store. Again it all depends on distance and the light outside.
