Like its predecessor, the Lens Flipper Versatile simplifies carrying and switching between lenses. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If I order this for fuji x now, when can I get this product?

A: We are expecting availability for this product August 25th, 2016.

Q: 2. Since this is an item that is meant to carry an extra lens, how is that accomplished with out an over the shoulder strap?

A: The GoWing Lens Flipper Versatile for Canon RF-Mount Lenses has a 1/4"-20 socket, so it could be carried with camera strap systems that use a 1/4"-20 stud.

Q: 3. Hi there, beside the obvious difference between lens mount, is there any other different between the E-mount version and PL mount version?

A: Other than the Mount the two DENZ Portable Lens Checker models are exactly the same.

Q: 4. Would this product hold up to having two large L telephoto lenses attached all day on a long hot day outside? Can the plastic hold up to it? I was just thinking if a person became good at this change-over system, this could hold the 2nd and 3rd lenses, counting the 1st on the camera body. Is there anything that tells of a maximum weight or anything that would prevent this?

A: Holding two lens would not hang or balance as good on the side of your body. I first researched the product on the manufactures webpage. The center ring is all metal and there was a video of a man hanging off the strap. Who knows if it was not a lucky try and many breaks, but it shows the center is quite strong. The lens mount strength are all in the screws holding the metal rings to the body but it looks strong enough to support a large lens over time. I have only briefly owned mine but it seems to be a well made product. One dropped expensive lens would be too much bad press for such a company, I would think.

Q: 5. can someone confirm this product hold both EF and EF-S lenses?

A: It might not work for an EF-S lens that has a back part that protrudes too far back. The mount is the same, but some EF-S lenses don't work with some full frame cameras because that back part hits the mirror.

Q: 6. Can you adjust the elements position (aka: back focus) for proper infinity focus on MF Nikkor Ai/AiS lenses, like you can with the Metabones version?

A: No such adjustment available and mine was not getting to infinity focus so it was not worth keeping. I did not exchange it for another example of the same product because the iris control jams on all of the several lenses I tried. It adjusts the smaller f-stops properly but jams anywhere two to 4 stops short of reaching wide open. Avoid this product !

Q: 7. Is Vello Nikon F Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Accelerator Lens Adapter has autofocus or not ?

A: No

Q: 8. I would like to use this with my Ricoh GR3 - will this lens hood fit the 49mm threaded attachment?

A: No this will not work with the Ricoh GR III. This hood uses a Bayonet mount not a 49mm threaded mount.

Q: 9. Hi, will this hood fit Sony - 35mm f/1.8 FE SEL35F18F ?

A: I'm sorry, it is not compatible with the Sony 35mm 1.8.

Q: 10. Hi. I was told that this hood would fit the 35mm f/2.8 Zeiss lens. Can anyone confirm? Thank you in advance.

A: Yes it does fit the Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 lens, but it is very expensive and it is prone to breaking. I would look for a less expensive option if you can. I've been through this already.
