For use in two-person mobile journalism or content creation applications, this black J12 2-Person Wireless Microphone System turns your iOS mobile device into an audio recording machine. Clips on the back of each transmitter can attach them to the lapel of a shirt, while the plug-in receiver inserts directly into the Lightning port of your compatible smartphone or tablet which also supplies it with power.
The J12 system boasts a 65.6' transmission distance. LED indicators on both transmitters display their connectivity and power status. The receiver also features a Lightning port for charging your phone simultaneously. Integrated batteries in the transmitters power the system for a total of 6 hours. When the power runs out, the included charging case recharges them. A built-in intelligent de-noise module ensures your audio remains clean and undistorted. Q: 1. Can this be used stand-alone, without an iOS device? If so, what kind of power would need? I'm wondering if it can be powered externally, then plugged into a camcorder. (Or is there an equivalent Zoom product that doesn't need to be hacked to work with a camcorder?)
A: The iQ6 from Zoom is an iOS only device. Unfortunately Zoom does not currently offer a product similar that works standalone. For a stereo recording option for a camcorder, I would recommend a more traditional camera mountable , battery powered mic. Senal offers a compact solution, the SMS-45. a href= http://bhpho.to/1yN4UPN target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1yN4UPN/a
Q: 2. If I got an iphone 15 with the different connector, would I still be able to use this?
A: Regarding if you got an iPhone 15 with the different connector and whether you would still be able to use the Hollyland LARK C1 SOLO Wireless Microphone System with Lightning Connector for iOS Devices (Black, 2.4 GHz), you can use the Apple USB-C to Lightning Adapter (B&H # APMUQX3AMA).
Q: 3. Head phone relations
A: The Hollyland LARK C1 DUO 2-Person Wireless Microphone System does not have a built-in headphone jack for monitoring the audio.
Q: 4. Would I be able to connect the receiver to my iPhone SE while it's a part of the payload for the Zhiyun Smooth 5?
A: No. When using the iPhone while mounted on the Zhiyun Smooth-5 Smartphone Gimbal, there is no room to connect an external microphone or the wireless receiver for the Hollyland LARK C1 DUO 2-Person Wireless Microphone System. The phone needs to be positioned with the Lightning port next to the arm so that the camera is not obstructed. If the phone is flipped around, the arm of the gimbal will be in view of the camera.
Q: 5. Can I use this mic to convert spoken word to text on an iPhone 12 much like SIRI does?
A: Yes, when connected to an iPhone, the Polsen MO-IPL2 Lavalier Microphone with Lightning Connector and Headphone Jack for iOS Devices will replace the phone's internal microphone but should function with applications in the same manner otherwise.
Q: 6. I just recorded a recital with the iQ6. The recording quality is terrific, but there is occasional electrical interference on the recording, and simultaneously on the Zoom Q4 videorecording. The camera and phone were both resting on a solid surface about 12 inches apart. Could this be because I overlooked to turn off Bluetooth and Wi-fi on my phone? Or is there another explanation? Thanks.
A: Yes, you should turn off the Wi-Fi before using to avoid noise. Because it's condensir microphone, it's super sensitive for the Wi-Fi signal. Hope this is helpful for you. jinho
Q: 7. How much recording time will I get if I plug it into an iphone 6 that has been charged to 100%?
A: Depends on what you have on your phone, how many apps sucking the battery in the background. But best case scenario, iPhone 6Plus, newly set up with no apps, on airplane mode, about 6-8 hours.
Q: 8. Had anyone used this with the Live U smart App?
A: While we have not tested it with the LU-Smart app, this mic should be compatible with any app that can see an external mic input.
Q: 9. Will the Solo Lightening Receiver be compatible with the Duo USB-C Transmitters?
A: Yes, the transmitters included in the Hollyland LARK C1 DUO 2-Person Wireless Microphone System with USB-C Connector for Mobile Devices will work with the Lightning receiver. However, the DUO receiver can be used with two transmitters and the Solo receiver can be used with only one transmitter.
Q: 10. How much space will I need to record an hour and a half using Wav format?
A: If you use this 32GB card you will have more than enough time. B&H # SAESD32GBV3G that is the B&H part number.
