A: The Multiview would not make a good Switcher in this case. It was not designed for that purpose.

Q: 2. Is it possible to take 4x independent 3g sdi 1080p signals in, and create a quad view 6g sdi 4K out?

A: Yes, you can set the Blackmagic Design MultiView 16 to a 2 x 2 configuration and 4k 30p.

Q: 3. Can you solo any input just by using the Teranex control panel? Without having a PC connected?

A: Yes, you will be able to solo an input by using the Teranex Mini Smart Panel.

Q: 4. Wanting to use this for Livestreaming purposes with OBS. Does this give the option for me to grab each image separately and overlay it for one image for livestreaming purposes? Thanks

A: The Blackmagic Design MultiView 4 offers SDI loop output. If you have the ability to capture SDI with your computer you can use those sources as OBS allows.

A: This device does not offer tally light support.

Q: 6. Is the Fan as loud as other BM devices ?i need quiet fan on set

A: The fans in the Teranex mini products are quieter than many of the rack mount products, but there is a fan that must run in all the minis. So I would say it's not as loud.

Q: 7. Can you display up to 4 different images using this unit?

A: Yes, this is a multi-viewer. It allows you to combine 4 images on the screen in a 2x2 formation.

Q: 8. How are non-standard resolutions handled by the inputs, ex) 4:1 (3840 x 960) intended for an LED screen?

A: On the Blackmagic Design MultiView 4, non-standard resolutions are not supported and will be displayed black.

Q: 9. Do all of the inputs need to be the same video format? I see it supports 1080p60 but will it accept a mix of 1080p60 and 1080p30 on the inputs?

A: No, each input is independent. We have several different resolutions coming into ours. From Blackmagic's website: "You get full frame re‑synchronization on all SDI inputs, which means that they can be any video standard and frame rate, and each input is completely independent of the others."

A: The Atlona AT-WAVE-101 Wi-Fi Wireless AV Presentation Platform BH #ATWAVE101 features a Factory Rest function that might help: Factory Reset - Select this button, if wanting a clean slate after going through and changing the settings of the WAVE-101. A pop up will appear to verify a reset is what is needed, select the FACTORY RESET link to confirm the reset. Reboot - When pressed, a pop up will appear to confirm the choice.
