I am a hobbyist who has been beginner for fifteen years and have owned several DSLRs. Canon Nikon and Sony. I have found a camera now with Fuji that is mirrorless and blessedly east to operate with the dials! The colors seem great right off the camera. The option to easily alter lighting with the plus or minus dial is amazingly useful. Perhaps this won't matter to many but the app on my phone works seamlessly compared to the Canon app for iPhone. For the travel I do with mainly landscape the 15-45 lens works well. I'm looking to stick with this camera! It's taken me awhile to get one I feel this comfortable with. And thank you for the great support and advice from the B&H reps on the virtual chat.

XT-5 is my fist Fujifilm camera. Sayonara to Sony and Canon after I fell in love with Fujifilm system. XT-5 is great with no doubt but a little bit too big for everyday street photography.
I kept studying the other compact models like X-100v and XE-4, but for some reason I made up my mind to wait for XE-5 or next model of X-100v. One day, the review of XT-30 on youtube draw my attention, and I realize it is the smaller edition of XT-4. XT-30II has all excellent elements for a secondary camera. Now, I bring XT-30II with me everyday wherever I go. Frankly speaking , I doubt that if I will get XT-6 in the future, but I am sure that I will place my pre-oder for the XT-40 as long as it is released in the near future.

This is my first ever camera. I was shooting with my phone before that.

Needless to say this is a big jump and it took a little while and some tutorials to be able to use it properly. The images are great and the RAW files gives way more flexibility in post.
Paired with the XC 15 - 45 it is quite a light and compact carry setup....

Now that I've gotten used to it, i think i should have gone with the 18-55 instead.

This my perfect little hiking camera. enjoy some of my best shots below:

I love this camera, it's small and has amazing quality. I'm fairly new to photography and using cameras. I've only had experience with a Canon 7D but I was able to quickly learn how to navigate the Fuji XT30II. I love how portable and user friendly it is, so many great videos on the internet to help teach new users how to work the camera. It's exactly what I was looking for, I'm so excited to continue learning about it.

I’m very happy with the camera so far. I’m just getting back into shooting after a decades long break, so I have much to learn, but so far I’m very happy with the results. Surface level, this is a very pretty little camera, super easy to carry around. (Read reviews from people who know what they’re doing to learn about functionality of XT30ii compared to other models.)

I travel a lot and spend a lot of time doing street photography, having shot on Canon for many years I sought after a camera that would be light weight but still give me quality images. This Fuji model doesn't disappoint in those regards.

I will say the kit lens is just alright (I'm not a big fan of digital zoom) but I prefer the Fujifilm XF 16mm f/2.8 for the photographs I take.

Overall incredible camera that exceeded my expectations and has become my daily go to when going anywhere

I'm coming to this camera from an X-T1 that finally kicked the bucket after many years. I love this little X-T30 ii. I considered getting the latest X-T5 or maybe a used X-T4 but aside from the significant cost difference those pro bodies have continued getting larger and larger and I want a camera that is small and easy to have close at hand. This X-T30 ii is significantly lighter than my X-T1 mostly owing to having much less metal in its build. But it feels very sturdy and well made regardless and I appreciate carrying less weight. I don't miss the lack of an ISO dial as I mostly use the shutter and exposure comp dials anyway with auto-iso up to 3200. It has all the features I could want with the excellent 26 MP x-trans sensor, thumb stick for focus and film simulations. Also, having a screen that tilts up exactly like my old X-T1 was important to me as I like to hold the camera low. The only thing that stands out as an issue is where to put your thumb when holding the camera. Nothing feels natural or comfortable and I think it would be worse for someone with large hands. So a hot-shoe thumb grip is a 100% must (with it the camera feels rock solid in the hand). Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and I don't feel at all that I settled for a lower end camera compared to the pro line. Paired with a compact lens I think this is truly the perfect small mirrorless camera; it looks great and it shoots great too.
