Aquatica O-ring Maintenance Kit For The A70d Underwater Housing
- Product Code: ga13897
-
Keep your Aquatica A70D underwater housing watertight with this O-Ring Maintenance Kit. For complete camera compatibility information, please see below. The kit contains a full set of replacement O-rings for the enclosure, i.e., one large main seal and two smaller seals for the port and extension, along with a container of silicone lubricant to keep the rings from drying out and cracking.
Aquatica's neoprene O-rings are built to withstand extreme temperatures and are highly resistant to harsh solvents. After changing any O-ring, a pressure test or immersion without a camera inside the housing is mandatory. Failure to perform this test could result in serious damage to your camera and lens if the O-ring is improperly installed.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Would this work with a zoom bridge camera ?
A: The Ewa-Marine U-AXP100 Underwater Housing is too large for zoom bridge cameras. We would need to know the exact camera you want to put in a housing. You could email us at uw@bhphoto.com for help in choosing a housing for your camera.
Q: 2. I want to use this monitor off-camera. How long can the HDMI cable be between camera and monitor?
A: Upon inspection, it appears that the cable that comes with it is installed with the unit, so the length of the cable that is on it is the length that is used. Unfortunately according to Aquatica, because of all of the wiring and connections, this is the longest they could safely make the cable
Q: 3. Will an npf790 fit inside this housing? Or is the 770 the largest capacity battery that will fit?
A: Yes, the largest battery you should use with the Aquatica 5HD Underwater Monitor is a NP-F770 battery pack. It will not work with anything larger, such as an NP-F970 battery pack.
Q: 4. Will a Nikon d7100, 18-140mm lens with a SB-700 flash fit?
A: this outfit will fit in the UBXP however if you have lenses with an 82 mm filter thread then you will require the U-BXP 100.
Q: 5. would a canon t3i rebel fit?
A: The Canon T3i will fit in the Ewa-Marine U-AX Housing. You do have to make sure the lens on the camera has a maximum filter thread of 72mm. The camera body and lens together cannot be longer than 6.7 (170mm). Only internal focus lenses could be used in Ewa-Marine housings.
Q: 6. A D7100 Nikon camera with 18 - 105 67mm lens would fit in?
A: The Nikon D7100 with the 18-105mm lens will not fit in the Ewa-Marine U-FXP Underwater Housing. You could use the Ewa-Marine U-FXP Underwater Housing. You will also need the Ewa-Marine C-A67 67mm Adapter Ring Set. Here are the links: https://bhpho.to/2wbnd6W https://bhpho.to/2HkQrKX
Q: 7. Does it fit a Nikon D5300?

Q: 8. Do you have to purchase a different step-up ring to fit each lens you plan to use? Unclear how the lens fastens to the glass.

Q: 9. I'm looking for underwater housing that would accommodate my Canon 5D III, battery grip, 600EX flash and a 77mm lens (ideally up to 82mm). What reliable options would you recommend for this setup, without breaking the bank?
A: Ewa-Marine bag housings are a reliable option at a reasonable price when working in 20' of water or less. The housing is rated to 150' but water pressure will make it difficult to access the camera controls through the bag. The Ewa-Marine U-BXP100 is their largest housing. This bag is designed to hold an on-camera speedlight and could accommodate internal focus lenses with a maximum 82mm lens filter size. The housing includes the threaded 77mm lens-to-port adapter ring. Other optional port adapter rings including the 82mm adapter is available (#CA82). Wide-angle lenses can be used with this housing. The housing is designed for large DSLR cameras only. Use of a battery grip cannot be guaranteed. Q: 10. Can this housing simultaneously run an HDMI to the camera and/or an HDMI/B&C cable to a monitor on the surface?
