Q: 1. Do we have ND variable for drop in filter for 600mm lens

A: https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/763737-REG/Canon_4773B001_52mm_Drop_in_Gelatin_Filter.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/763737-REG/Canon_4773B001_52mm_Drop_in_Gelatin_Filter.html/a is what you are looking for... Pro: interchangeable 52mm filters. Con: Some people express concern about filter/screw threads contaminating the inner lens elements after prolonged use. I personally see little use (potential) for ND filters on my 600mm lens. I would compromise and set my ISO to 100 and a high aperture for longer exposures. Of course, if you want to shoot at a wide open aperture, then you must use your camera in lower light. The best light is closer to sunrise and sunset, so you should be OK in most circumstances. Good luck with your selection :o)

Q: 2. Can this filter be used with the Canon 500mm F4 IS II?

A: The Canon Drop-In Circular Polarizing Filter PL-C 52 (WIII) is compatible only with the RF400mm F2.8 L IS USM EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III USM EF 600mm f/4L IS III USM The Canon Drop-In Circular Polarizing Filter PL-C 52 (WII) is compatible with the 500mm f/4 lens.

Q: 3. Please give one detailed explanation of best usage when used 90 to sun

A: If you want to get a fabulous shot of a cloud-filled sky or make the water seem more saturated, then a polarizer is the way to go. This filter is the best way to make the clouds stand out, increase or decrease the saturation of the ocean or increase or decrease the reflection off the water. You can also use this filter when shooting into glass or windows since it will, again, either increase or decrease reflections.

Q: 4. what filters fits my Pentax K-50 camera?

A: That would depend on the filter thread of the lens you are using on the K-50. Typically, you can find this on the underside of the lens cap, along the lens barrel, or inside edge of the front of the lens. It will be the number after the symbol of a circle with a line through it. If you are having troubles finding this, you could send us an email letting us know what lens you are using, and we would be able to check on this for you. a href= http://Askphoto@bhphotovideo.com target= _blank Askphoto@bhphotovideo.com/a

Q: 6. Need to locate a Canon 52mm drop in rear UV only filter. My Canon 300 mm 2.8 lens came with a gealtin filter and I purchased a cicurlar polariser drop in filter.

Tiffen makes a great line of low cost filters. I know there are more expensive filters with better glass but this one works for me as much as I use them. Gives great contrast to blue sky, increases depth in clouds and eliminages glare and reflection from glass and water. It works like a polarizer should.

Takes a little bit to get used to how it works mechanically but once you get by that swell. Just don't be a gorilla like me and over tighten it on the lens. It doesn't need to go there. Just a little snug will do. This is probably true with all circular polarizing filters. In order to give you a nicely controlled filter adjustment with a bigger ring to turn, the serrated tightening ring is quite thin. After I over cranked it the first time, I found I could catch one of the serrations with a metal ball point pen barrel with the ink tip retracted enough to loosen it.Have gotten some significantly wow shots with my Canon 7D and landscape subjects. A great improvement. Just turn the filter until the sky is as dark blue and shoot. Turn it a lot until you're sure. And, if you don't want polarizing, short of removing the filter, turn it until the sky is light and bright so it's not clipping brights and it might be fine depending on your subject and light conditions. The Tiffen works well. If I had way expensive Canon L glass, I guess I could afford the higher grade and priced filters; but for my kit lenses this filter is working super fine.
