A: The 12-Pin connector has been put on the VariCam LT specifically for powering and controlling B4 lenses. There is even a setting in the menus for Lens Connect Type that you can set to B4. As far as chromatic aberration the best way to limit or avoid that will be to use a high quality adapter. MFT Services Ltd makes a very nice B4 2/3 to EF adapter with Multi Layer Coated Optics.
