The Tiffen 95mm Coarse Thread Double Fog 2 Filter simulates the effects of natural fog or mist by creating a soft glow around highlights and lowering the overall contrast of the scene. When compared to the standard Fog filter, this filter places greater emphasis on lowering the contrast while maintaining sharpness and minimizing the effects of flare. The 2 density provides a moderate amount of fog effect and requires no exposure compensation.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.

Q: 1. Can this fit any 72mm lens. I have a canon rebel T5 with 18-200 lens that is 72mm?

A: Yes, the Tiffen 72mm Variable Neutral Density Filter will fit any lens with a 72mm diameter filter thread, including the Canon EF-S 18-200mm lens.

Q: 2. Hello, I have been doing simple photography for a while, but don't know much about my equipment... so I was wondering if this filter is compatible with a canon rebel T4i with a canon EF-S 55-250mm lens? Thanks for your time!

A: This filter is the incorrect size for the Canon EF-S 55-250 lens. Instead, you will need a filter with a thread size of 58mm. Take a look at the Hoya 58mm Variable Neutral Density filter: http://bhpho.to/1kcHnEZ

Q: 3. I have a Nikkor 18-200 lens with a 72 mm thread. Can this 77mm VND Filter be used with a step-up ring (72-77) on my Nikkor and Nikon D7000 DSLR?

A: Yes, that will work well.

Q: 4. Will this 67mm filter works on Tamron 28-200? Worrying it will not work on the wide end of the lens.

A: Yes Tiffen 67mm Variable Neutral Density Filter will fit the Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD Lens for Sony E. 28mm is not extremely wide so it should not vignette.

Q: 5. what size lens cap to buy for the 52mm?

A: I would recommend the Kaiser 57mm Push-On Lens Cap, B&H # KALC57, as a slip-on lens cap for use on the Tiffen 52mm Variable Neutral Density Filter, or the slightly smaller Kaiser 56mm Push-On Lens Cap. B&H # KALC56, for a more snug fit.

Q: 6. which OP/TECH Hood Hat would fit on the 82mm filter? My 82mm lens is 3.25 inch diameter but the filter has a larger diameter, I think.

A: The small would be fine and would fit nice and tight, but if you want a bit of room, the medium would be better suited since that filter measures about 3.5 in diameter and the medium hood hat is meant for front elements from 3.5"-4".

Q: 7. Hi,Will this ND filter fit on my Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 ATX lens? Thanks.

A: No it will not. The Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 ATX lenses have a 77mm sized filter thread. See the link below for the proper option in the 77mm size:http://bhpho.to/So8rpt

Q: 8. I just bought this filter, works great! But I am not able to use my 82mm Sensei lens cap for the ND. The ND it self seems to have a larger front diameter. What lens cap do you recommend? Thanks, -GG

A: Check out the Sensei 95mm lens cap, as the Tiffen 82mm Variable Neutral Density Filter has a front thread size of 95mm: http://bhpho.to/K9qRG6

Q: 9. Will this adapter ring work with the bronica gs-1 6x7 with the 50mm wide angle lens with 95mm thread? Thanks,Richard

A: Yes, that will work on that lens and camera.

Q: 10. Would this be OK on a 58-77 step up ring to allow use on a m43 lens?

A: You will be fine to use a 77mm filter on a step up ring to use on a micro 4/3 lens, however, depending on the focal length of the lens, you may experience vignette.
