The LED charges using USB-C and an included cable, so you can monitor remaining power levels with the indicator light (red during charging, white when fully charged). The 50mAh battery can be fully charged in just 2.5 hours, providing up to 3 hours of runtime at maximum brightness.

Achieve high clarity with close up shots using optical glass with a 5 element, 4 group structure for clear and pristine images. The frame is crafted from lightweight, sturdy, and rust-resistant aluminum alloy, it is perfect for "little biologists" who use phone microscopes to pursue their interests and study subjects like creatures, plants, and more. It can even be used as a jeweler's loupe.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Regarding the focus ring, if the ring is pulled back and set to 5ft Red 5 number), what does that mean in terms of the f-stops and focus length. Does that mean that anything within 5ft at f5.6-f/22 will be in focus -or- what? Any tips are appreciated!

A: Yes that does mean that anything within 5 feet at any f-stop will remain in focus.

Q: 2. Any results with the Canon R5. I've heard that this lens while optimal on Canon mirrored cameras is soft on Canon RF mount cameras?

A: We have had no reports about any issues using this lens with a lens adapter on Canon RF cameras.

Q: 3. Does this lens somehow let the user know if the photo is in focus? Is there something that blinks? I am shooting with a 5D Mark IV. Thanks!

A: Hi Austin. This is a manual focusing lens. The blink will occur with auto focusing lenses. This lens is intended to be used with a tripod and stopped down a bit (f/8.0) should work. Use the manual focus ring to set the distance. With the aperture stopped down on a 17mm lens just about everything in the frame should be in focus.

Q: 4. Is this lens compatible with either the Canon Rebel XSi and/or Canon EOS 5D Mark III cameras? Thanks!

A: Yes, this lens is fully compatible with the Canon XSi and 5D Mk III cameras, and any other Canon EOS Digital or Film SLR cameras.

Q: 5. Does the lens come with lens caps? I can’t imagine it would, but it doesn’t come with a hood.

A: Yes, front and rear caps.

Q: 6. Lens hood included or is this lens to be used with the glass exposed like that?

A: The lens has no hood or filter ring. You must use it with Lee or other filter holders. The lens is strictly manual focus, manual exposure and is best used with a 1 deg. spot meter. You can rotate the tilt and the shift so both can be used in different orientations. Somewhat like the front of a view camera.

Q: 7. does this fit om-d e-m5 ? if so why it doesn't appear on the accessories list ?

A: Yes, this lens is Micro Four Thirds Mount so fits on my E-M5 (as well as my other MFT camera bodies) without any problems. Not sure why it doesn't appear on the accessories list.

Q: 8. For Portrait vs Landscape photos, do I need to use the Rotation function to 90 degrees (+- depending on left/right camera rotation)?

A: No, one does not adjust the mount rotation: +/- 90° on the Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L Tilt-Shift Lens based on shooting orientation. Rotation of the tilt-shift mechanism should be done based on what is needed for the specific composition. This is independent of camera orientation.

Q: 9. Hi!! Do you know tell me if the 17mm TS from one side of the shift all the way to the other is equivalent image circle to a 10mm lens (full frame)? I mean, if i shift up, take a picture, than shift dow and take another, then put them together i can gat the same angle of reach of a 10mm wide angle lenses? How many mm wide the hole possible Tilt circle is equivalent? Thanks a lot!! Cheers!!

A: Yes you can shift - take a center shot horizontal - a full left shift and a full right shift and merge all three images in photoshop. The view would be about equal to a 10mm lens in the left and right view. Matching exposure and color can be a bit tricky depending on the image. Also the extreme outside of the final image will be a bit soft - you are reaching the extreme edge of the circle.

Q: 10. In manual focus mode, does the focus ring have a hard stop at infinity, or does it keep turning past infinity?

A: Yes in manual focus this has a hard stop at infinity.
