Q: 1. What is the Ph of this tissue? Is it archived ?

A: It would be 7.5 - 8.5 pH by Tappi Standard T435.

Q: 2. are these 3g sdi?

A: This cable is 3G-SDI–rated.

Q: 3. What country are these made in?

Q: 4. What unit/writer is required to “burn’/write these M-Discs?

A: Any Blu-Ray reader/writer that supports M DISC will be compatible with the Verbatim 25GB BD-R 4x M DISC with Branded Surface (25-Pack Spindle). For external optical drives, we carry the Pioneer BDR-XD07S 6x Slim Portable USB 3.0 Blu-ray Burner with M-DISC Support (BH #PIBDRXD07S). https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1520037-REG/pioneer_bdr_xd07s_6x_slim_portable_usb.html

Q: 5. Am I correct in assuming that you can store digital photo images on these? And that they far and away surpass the 700mb? Thank you!

A: Yes, they hold up to 25GB of any kind of data you want to write to them (including photos). 25GB is about 25,000mb). However, be aware you will need a Blu-ray burner that supports M-DISC media to burn these discs. If you have a Blu-ray burner that doesn't specifically support M-DISC media, you may be able to download a firmware update from the manufacturer to support M-DISC media. If the drive doesn't come with burning software, you can get free software on the web that will do the job.We have found that these are a good option if your internet service (like ours) is insufficient to upload photos to cloud backup, as long as you have a place off site to store them (we put them in our safe deposit box). However, because these discs will hold A LOT of pictures, just make sure to create a folder structure/index that will allow you to find photos in the future (at minumum, by year and/or subject). A little planning before you create the discs will save you tons of time in the future in the event you need to use them to locate specific photos.

Q: 6. What was brand name of internal BD-R did you used without problem?

A: I have since then upgraded to the Pioneer BDR-2209, but I had a Pioneer BDR-208M at that time. I never had any issues with the latter drive, I just bought the newer model for the extra features.

Q: 7. I want just the Paterson 4 ring binder or equivalent- do not need pages. Do you sell any such binder?

A: Yes we do, see the following link for the recommendation:a href= http://bhpho.to/1pV0dEM target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1pV0dEM/a

Q: 8. Could it work for A4 size 5 mil thick magazines???

A: The ClearFile 08B-Print Protector (9 x 12", 25-Pack) can hold A4 size 5-mil thick magazines.

Q: 9. How many percent Alcohol does this contain?

A: That amount is not specifically listed, however we can tell you that they will not have an amount equal to hand sanitizer liquid or wipes. It is not meant as a replacement to those.

Q: 10. Do each of these envelopes also include archival quality storage for up to the 36 negatives related to each photo?

A: I found it difficult to fit 36 photos in the envelopes. There is a separate compartment you could store negatives in the front but I would only do so if the negatives are in their protective sleeves.
