Q: 1. how to connect laptop on AVMATRIX VS0601U ?

A: The AVMATRIX VS0601U Mini 6-Channel SDI/HDMI Multi-Format AV Switcher with USB Streaming would normally connect to a laptop via one of the HDMI inputs. This would be if you wanted to input power point animated slides. The switcher also has a USB-C output for live streaming that would connect to your computer. The USB output would act like a webcam and allow you to live stream the output of the Avmatrix switcher.

Q: 2. does the so605u work with Mac OS ?

A: Yes, the AVMATRIX VS0605U 6-Channel SDI/HDMI Multi-Format Streaming Switcher can be used with Mac and Windows computer platforms or stand alone.

Q: 3. is this compatible with two JBL AWC62's as well as two JBL AWC129's?

A: Yes

Q: 4. DOES THIS MACHINE REQUIRE A SOFT WARE TO TRANSMIT T TO THE SOCIAL MEDIA?

A: No, the VS0601U features an added built-in USB Type-C output. When connecting with PC, it will work like a webcam for capturing uncompressed video and audio. The LAN port is used to synchronize local time.

Q: 5. Can the internet be used as an input? Can I show 8 different netflix shows simultaneously?

A: Not the way you ask it. It only accepts HD-SDI BNC connections for Cinema/TV Professional Cameras. You would need 8 seperate devices connected to the internet then a HDMI-to-HDSDI Converter to plug in each device to view all 8 shows. its still only 1080p best. So each of the 8 signals would be Standard Def at best on the screen.

Q: 6. Is it really 240v/50hz compatible?

A: Yes, the FiiO R7 All-in-One Desktop Hi-Fi Streaming Player & Amplifier (Black) is 100 to 240 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz compatible.

Q: 7. Does this come with a shock mount as listed? It's not pictured.

A: Yes it does. I didnt think it came with a shock mount either because of the picture so I bought one separate. Turns out it does and I have a shock mount Im not using lol.

Q: 8. can this mixer accept a phono input?

A: The Behringer XENYX 1202FX is designed to accept line level signal only via the RCA or 1/4 inputs. A phono level signal will require a preamp to be connected. The Rolls VP29 is a popular choice.

Q: 9. Please what is the difference between Avmatrix VS0605U and VS0605 video switcher?

A: VS0605U has a USB Streaming output (via USB-C) and the VS0605 does not.

Q: 10. Is to possible or simple to get tally information to display from a ATEM Production Studio?

A: Hi David, This is Jules from Product Support at Symbiosis, Decimator's master reseller for your region. The DMON-12S allows the triggering of tallies using either GPI or TSL protocol serial control via the RS485/422 port. I hope this helps. Best Wishes Jules
