The true black 1.75mm ABS Filamentfrom MakerBot is designed to work with the MakerBot Replicator 2X Experimental 3D Printer, MakerBot Replicator 1 3D Printer, and MakerBot Thing-O-Matic MK6+ Desktop 3D Printer. This filament requires a heated build platform, and prior to printing, please ensure the build plate is level, clean, and oil-free. MakerBot ABS filament needs to be used in a well-ventilated area and has a glass temperature of 221°F, an amorphous (no "true") melting point, a nozzle temperature of 446°F, and a diameter of 1.75mm.

The filament is MakerBot filament and I get great prints out of it every time. But more about B&H, they’re turning into my goto source for printing supplies. I needed this color of filament for a project but it was being sold by 3rd party sellers for up to $70 per roll on a competing vendor site. Here it was regular price with a great shipping deal. They’ve had everything I’ve needed every time when the competition didn’t. I’ll be coming here first from now on. 5

The filament from B&H prints well in my K1C, i previously ordered from Amazon and it seemed old/wet or whatever even after it was dried with my Pi Plus. The price is a tad more from B&H but is offset by the free Next Day Shipping. I printed all my K1C upgrade parts with the filament from B&H, 270 Door Hinge, Riser for more belt clearance, Fan cover, Side Spool Holder, ETC. All came out great with the Creality settings in Creality 5.1. My only issue with B&H is they dont carry a color selection i need Red, Green, Yellow. I will order from the Creality Store. But i know i can always get Black/White PETG from B&H. I ordered 3 more rolls. 5

The filament is the same whether you buy it here or from MakerBot directly - the difference is free shipping at B&H and it arrived immediately. We've waited close to 2 weeks to receive a shipment from MakerBot AND we paid for the shipping. Could not be happier with this purchase. 5
