A: Hello David R, this cable will be able to do 4k30 but it will not be able to do 4k60. our HDMI 2.0 cable will be able to do the 4k60 frame rates.

Q: 4. AtomOS makes a much more expensive cable ATOM4K60C5. Can you detail the differences? For instance, this cable appears to be compatible with the GH5, but only for 4K @ 30 fps. It appears the more expensive camera is required for recording 60 fps.

A: ATOMOS support told me this: The main difference is the v1.4 tops out at 4k 30p...the newer cable is I believe a v2.0a and will handle HDR, 4K 60p. If you aren't doing HDR or 4K 60p the less expensive cable will work... My problem turned out to be the write speed of the disk, not the cable.

Q: 5. Does this work with any Atomos product? Does it even work with any product that uses HDMI to HDMI?

A: We purchased this short HDMI coiled cable for our Ninja Blade by Atomos and it works well. We have had no problems with the link between the Blade and our C-100.

A: Hello Victor D, with our cables you should be able to pass up to 4kDCI as long as the camera is capable of outputting that source (i.e Sony A7sR2 etc...) the new HDMI 2.0a cables we will release soon will be able to pass 4k@60.
