This 75mm Ball Plate from Inovativ is designed to work with the separately available Camera Mount System. Constructed with 6061 T6 aluminum, the plate provides a 75mm bowl that supports 75mm ball tripod heads. The unit comes with the necessary mounting hardware.

This is perfect for mounting a slider (Edelkrone in this case) directly to tripod instead of attaching it to the head. Well built, Manfrotto quality. Good buy. 5

I used to use my edelkrone SliderPlus (24) with my Manfrotto 504HD head on 535 CF tripod legs. I was getting some tilting of the shot toward the ends of the slide. This can be corrected in post by rotating the image slightly. Now I just use the 75mm half ball and the tilt is eliminated. It takes time switching the heads but the difference in quality is worth it. Solid build as well. 5

This product enabled the use of my 502AH video head on a 635 FAST single tube tripod. The product worked well on the tripod and allowed me to securely adjust the position of the video head. I highly recommend this accessory to anyone with a flat base video head who is planning to use a tripod with 75 mm (or 100 mm with adapter) circular bowl. 5

I shoot mainly video and recently purchased the Manfrotto 546B tripod, but already had a Manfrotto 501 head (which does not have a ball...it is flat). Since the 546B has a bowl for heads with balls, my 501 was basically useless. So instead of shelling out more money for a new compatible tripod, I got the 520Ball. This allowed me to use the 501 head on the new set of legs and it works absolutely great. I have not used it yet in any long shoots, but it has performed exceptional during any tests so far. 5

Love this half ball! It let me use my 502AH video head (flat base) on a 75 mm ball head tripod stand. All metal quality and really easy to set up. It has no problem to hold my C300 MKII camera with camera rig set up. I love it! 5
