For storage of your files, this system is equipped with a 512GB NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD with an M.2 2280 form factor. If you want to add external storage drives, optical drives, printers, memory card readers, or other peripherals, there are ten 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one of which supports device charging. For users who wish to add additional components to the drive bays, the Z6 G5 A features two PCIe 5.0 x4 and two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots for M.2 storage, plus an external 5.25" drive bay that can accommodate four M.2 drives using a CRU carrier. Additional internal expansion may be accomplished using four PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, and one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot.
