Featuring PSD PP (Protection Profile for Peripheral Sharing Device) v4.0 support, the 8-Port USB and Dual DVI Secure KVM Switch from ATEN isolates up to eight computer sources, allowing you to securely control them using a single keyboard, mouse, and two 2560 x 1600 resolution DVI-I displays. You can connect up to two 4K HDMI monitors using separately purchased DVI-to-HDMI adapters. A built-in Common Access Card (CAC) reader provides an added layer of security.

The rear panel includes eight USB-B and audio port sets, each of which includes two DVI-I dual link ports. The front panel push buttons allow you to select between connected systems. A separately purchased remote port selector may be connected to the dedicated RJ11 port.

A: No. I tried it with my computer. The AC adapter must be plugged-in for those 5 ports to work.

Q: 10. Can I use this for multiple Video Cameras that runs on USB 3.0 like web cam and PTZ etc.?

A: I've had problems with my external hard drives randomly force ejecting with this USB hub. I think it might be due to the power supply, but in my personal experience, it's not the most stable connection.
