A: The Short answer is that I would not recommend it. Whether or not this works depends on the camera that you plan to use with this. attaching this to your camera cage will make the camera rig larger and therefore making it harder to balance (especially if you want to have clearance for tilt.) depending on the height and weight distribution of your camera you may need counterweights to help balance the gimbal. If you need to use an external battery it is usually best to mount it off the camera via the accessory ports on the gimbal (like the nato rails) or using accessories like the DJI R Twist Grip Dual Handle for RS 2 & RSC 2 (B&H # DJRTGDH MFR # CP.RN.00000096.01)
