This modified version of the GoPro HERO12 Black gives you the option to use C, CS, and M12 mount lenses with your action camera to achieve whatever look you desire. The included M12 to C-mount adapter ring supports M12 lenses with a back focus distance greater than 1.9mm.

The modified camera features the same upgraded functionality as the original HERO12—its improved battery life, HyperSmooth 6.0 technology, and expanded Bluetooth wireless. Its 27MP image sensor can also capture 4K120 and 2.7K240 video with ease. The H12PRO also includes a tripod adapter as well as the original folding 2-prong GoPro mount for compatibility with a wide variety of mounting options. This modified version of the camera is still compatible with the GoPro Media mod, which adds an HDMI output and pro audio equipment connectivity.

Note: Back-Bone modified GoPro cameras are not waterproof. H12PRO cameras are not capable of shooting infrared. As a general guide, M12 lenses with a back focus distance under 1.9mm are not compatible.

A: If you still want to be focused to infinity then the minimum focus distance for the 3.8mm M12 lens is about half a meter. If you don't care about infinity and are only concerned about near focus with a very shallow depth of field, you can set the focus of the 3.8mm mm to about 1cm away from the lens.
