A: Yes, the Lowepro Truckee BP 250 (Black, 18L) will hold a Midsize DSLR and a lens or two.

Q: 2. Does this new model have the hidden quick release feature seen in the old Hadley Pro? All I see from the photos are buckles...Having to undo the straps within the buckles seems rather cumbersome, esp. in situations where it's important to have quick access to your camera...Can anyone elaborate on their experiences with this?

A: There are no quick releases. No issues with the buckles for me as the flap stays put over the gear when undone if I need quick access.

Q: 3. Where is the Veer 18 Made?

A: Vietnam

Q: 4. I want to but the shoulder pad for this but can't find if the strap is 2 or 1.5 - the sp40 or sp50 shoulder pad

A: Billingham lists these shoulder pads as compatible with the Hadley Large Pro Shoulder Bag,http://bhpho.to/1mhLj2O. And these can be used with straps no larger than 2 inches.

Q: 9. What are interior dimensions of the main compartment?

A: Compagnon Element Sling 15 Camera Backpack internal dimensions for the main compartment with the camera insert is 16L X 11H X 6W.

Q: 10. Does the leather grab handle have two buttons, or two rivets? I'm trying to figure out if you need to undo the buckles to get to your gear or if you can just unclasp the handle. Thanks!

A: The handle does have 2 rivets and does open however because the strap is sewn to the top cover you cannot open the bag without undoing the buckles. I also thought it would open similar to some other Billingham bags I have where you can simply undo the handle, open the flap and there would be another handle inside to easily carry with the flap open but for some reason that feature was not built into this bag. Where the leather starts on the front of the flap straps you can see where it is sewn down if you zoom in. Still an awesome bag to carry large kit with laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned several packable day packs and the Veer is hands down the best. It looks great, very functional and is made of solid materials. Well done Wandrd

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this bag packed in my HEXAD Duffel and have had to use it a few times already. I got the Cobalt color which matches with the set of bags I have. The quality is amazing and the fact that when I don't need it can be stashed away easily is a huge plus. Another great product from WANDRD.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really worried about this product but when I got it and tried it out it really stood up against a lot of the bigger bags and bigger companies. I will say the only thing that was a little unusual is blowing up and inflatable back support. But I find to use my laptop case cover to work a little bit better but other than that the pockets the features everything on it is really good. And it handles some really good lows to be 18 liters I was really amazed I packed it out and honestly I thought maybe the shoulder straps would break but they held up. I probably should have ordered two but I'm waiting to see what version 2 looks like if it was me I would have installed one of those slim bulbs so you can pump air into your inflatable pack. But other than that really good product.

I received this as a gift. This super light yet sturdy day pack is so intelligently designed, with an interesting shape profile, optional inflatability should you need added comfort, straps that rest lightly but appear capable of bearing a goodly amount of weight, and ability to fold up and use as a bring-along extra day pack. Features I also like a lot are i) a top compartment with a back-facing zipper (you control it, not someone behind you), ii) ability to secure the main side zipper so it can't be easily opened by someone else, iii) deep water bottle sleeve, iv) added loops, v) smaller central zipper and pocket. It's versatile, and straps and seams appear well sewn and reinforced. I have previously used a heavier, bulkier backpack for hikes etc. so this is a great alternative that I look forward to using extensively.
